Id love to hire Turner as the OC. He has a great track record of developing successful QBs and having great RBs. Turner needs to be considered as a potential replacement to Musgrave. |

+1, Wonder if we can get a Phillip Rivers/Norv Turner package deal. _________________

Not sure I would want Philip Rivers at this point. His arm strength has been deteriorating. _________________

What is Norv Turner's record as an OC compared to as a HC? He hasn't done very well as a HC, I know, but I don't know how he has fared as an OC. _________________

Personally, I think he'll head to Carolina to coach under his buddy Cameron. I think their OC is going to get canned and Cameron will ask Turner to coach Newton.
What about Bill Callahan? |

Turner does have a connection to Spielman as well via the Wannstedt staffs when he was with the Dolphins. Spielman's connection to Wannstedt goes all the way back to the Bears of the late '90s. Now, I don't know what Spielman's relationship with Turner was, but they are certainly familiar with each other. _________________

I think Leslie Frazier deserves some credit as well the last couple weeks. It would have been easy after a really rough period following the 4-1 start to collapse like a cheap tent but he's had them ready to play the last couple weeks and they've made plays. The players seem to like him a lot and they play hard for him. I'm open to Frazier staying on long term if the team continues to play like this consistantly. _________________

Jimmy Johnson was very complimentary of Frazier during FOX's post game chit chat, saying he held the team together well. _________________

I think this issue has certainly been laid to rest. There's absolutely no question that Frazier will be back next year...and I actually don't think there will be much turnover in the coaching staff at all (unless someone surprisingly departs for a different job).
While I don't know if he certainly deserves it at this point, I think at the end of the season, he'll likely get a 2-year extension, just so he doesn't go into next season as a lame duck coach. _________________

I think Frazier deserves it way more than Spielman "deserved" to be promoted to GM last year. _________________

Probably true, but it's hard to argue with Spielman's draft this year. The John Carlson debacle on the other hand...
That said, Frazier has exceeded expectations. I felt that 6 wins would certainly win him another season. As it is, this team is playing meaningful games in December; which is far more than even the most optimistic among us expected in August. |

Does anyone believe that Andy Reid would want to be a coordinator for a year or two? _________________
