I agree.

DeCastro should have been the pick.

Wright would be at the most be a second rounder this year in my opinion.

I like Wright but it was a horrible pick for us.

I think at least 2-3 of this years OG's will prove to be better than DeCastro.

Maybe all the WRs this year prove to be better than Wright? Who knows. But we got the best WR in the draft last year.

Based on what I've been hearing about DeCastro, he would've been an even worse pick. It doesn't matter how good his physical skills are if he's struggling to get his psyche in check.

As for Wright, if coaches would stop wasting him on bubble-screens and curl routes all day and start sending him downfield more where he can make more plays for us, he'll show you why we took him in the 1st round. I already know why, but the naysayers need to be educated on the matter. His career production was second to none coming out, including Justin Blackmon.

My personal opinion is that people were just disappointed that we didn't take who they wanted.

Nothing was wrong with Wright last year. Lead the team in receptions had 4 TDs and was excellent after the catch. Lot of times his catches came on 3-4 yard routes and he turned them into 9-10 yard gains a lot of times.
Had a good rookie year..

If our offense would have been more evolved, he would have looked better. Cause truth be told, we rarely passed downfield with any of our WRs.

If you want to argue we should have taken Chandler Jones, then that's a fair argument. But,I don't remember many jumping on tables for him. They just wanted the OG.
But I feel in the long run, people will be overjoyed we took the WR over an OG.

You can put up all the stats you want, Wright isn't going to grow several inches and reach the talent level of CJ, Fitz or White.

It's a shame that no matter what Kendall Wright does people will hold it against him that we didn't draft DeCastro or Jones. He had an above average rookie season for a WR. At least give him two or three seasons before determining if drafting him over DeCastro or Jones was a "mistake".

You can complain all you want and we won't have DeCastro as a draft pick. Now what? Not cheer when he gets a TD or catches a pass?
"Nice TD, but DeCastro would have done the same"

This right here is my point overall. Wright is not just some run-of-the-mill WR that we "wasted" a 1st round pick on, and rest assured that he was NOT going to make it to the 2nd round like some might think. Cleveland already had their sights set on him if he got passed us. This kid is going to be a gamebreaker for us.

Blackmon
Gordon wasn't in the draft but was a better rookie WR
Going forward I'll take Blackmon, Gordon, Floyd, Jeffery, and Hilton over Wright.

Justin had one freak game....outside of that he and Wright were the same at the least.

But no....no...we can't talk about going forward...right? Cause Wright isn't going to improve.....we aren't supposed to actually see how at least his first 3 years play out before writing him off......
Soo...no no no sir..... we can't look forward. We can only look at the here and now....right?

So right now? Gordon, Floyd, Jeffery and Hilton all are busts by the standard of some here...

Honestly the only difference from Warmack and Warford is Warmack goes to a national powerhouse and has slightly better athleticism. Always saw Warford as underated. Should be a 1st round pick. Other prospects I'm impressed with and would be open for the Titans to draft are Kawaan Short, Stepfan Taylor, Mike James, Datone Jones, John Jenkins, Leon McFadden, and Desmond Trufant.
