Assuming both Star and Moore are off the board at #10, I wouldn't be too interested in taking another DL at that time. I wouldn't have any problem with us taking Chance Warmack at that spot. After doing a little more digging, I have a lot of interest in Barrett Jones as well. He can play all 3 positions on the O-line, and kicks a$$ at it. Adding him would give our O-line a lot more flexibility between OG/C and even kick out to "right" OT if we need. Let's say we re-sign Fernando Velasco (C/G), sign Andy Levitre (OG), trade back and get in extra pick (or two), then take Barrett Jones (C/G/T). Thoughts?

I am cool with that if they move back to take Manti Teo's girlfriend in the 2nd round. Laughing Laughing

We already have an invisible player in Michael Griffin lol

What say we trade #10 and #38 for #16 and #22?

Maybe...OG Chance Warmack and S Matt Elam

That would be great, not gonna happen though. This organization treasures their draft position like Smeagol treasures the ring.

Would be very smart but of course we don't have smart people running our franchise.

No. We have bigger needs to fill than a MLB. Even if McCarthy is on-again, off-again injured, we've got two stud LBers in Ayers and Brown that we've spent the past 2 draft picks in the second round on.

People, great defenses start up front. You build a great defensive line, the rest of the defense will vastly improve. Picking up a 3rd linebacker, when the NFL is shifting to a more pass oriented league, thus requiring more nickel and dime packages (and fewer LBers on the field), means we have absolutely no need for Te'o.

I MAY consider him if he's there in the 4th, but before then, I firmly believe there are better players available at positions we need.

Ya the first 2 picks have to be some combo of DT S or O-Line

I feel as though as much as I would love Warmack I don't think he is the pick at 10. I feel like we should take the best DT left on the board unless Millner falls but I don't see that happening as well. Then select our highest rated G in the 2nd. Guard is a very deep class this year. But if we do select a G at 10 I guess Margus Hunt in the 2nd? I don't know much about him except he big but not sure if he would be a dominant DT. I think he is 280. Tough call but I agree the picks need to be DT/G in 1 and 2

I agree.

DeCastro should have been the pick.

Wright would be at the most be a second rounder this year in my opinion.

I like Wright but it was a horrible pick for us.
