Really don't see the need to do that. |
Sorry that reads wrong.
I'd be willing to trade down and draft in the 1st
OR
Draft one in the 2nd. |

Really don't see the need to do that. Velasco showed he was a huge upgrade over Amano and IMO should be resigned to be our center going forward. I like Warmack alot but just not a top 10 pick. He's a top 10 talent in this draft, but shouldn't be a top 10 pick. Dallas Thomas in the 2nd would be great IMO. Get a defensive player in the 1st(Star, Moore, Richardson, Hankins, Jenkins, Werner) and interior O-Lineman in the 2nd(Thomas, Warford, Cooper but I doubt he'll be there). No need to go all-out on the O-Line. My ideal situation is to resign Velasco, sign Levitre, and draft a guard 4th round or later to replace Hutch in a year or 2. |
Oh god...Velasco played so well, I kind of forgot about Amano. Pretty sure I blocked him out of my memory.
If he comes back from injury and starts next season, I give up. _________________

I'd kill for another Bruce Matthews or Mike Munchak on the o-line. There was no beating them..especially Bruce. What a ridiculously dominant player, even in his final years.
I need to stop reminiscing. |

Sorry I brought him up. Left a sour taste in my mouth just saying it. Honestly I just want him cut. Velasco IMO started off slow but really became a pretty good center over the season. Would really like to resign him to a 4 year deal. _________________

I don't think they have started that stuff yet. I did just see a mock draft having us taking Hankins from OSU. I've also seen one with us grabbing Millner from Alabama. _________________

Blaine Bishop said on his radio show today that we should draft Matt Elam, Safety out of Florida. He said try to trade down, but if that was not possible, take him at 10 anyway. Said man had skills and attitude. Bishop should know a good safety when he sees one, and I have never heard him tout one like this before. _________________

Yeah i heard that today. Made me look back at him.
Use Elam in a real rover roll and let Griff try to play whatever is natural to him..whatever that may be.
But I still have some reservations about Elam but Bishop gave him a ringing endorsement. |

Eh thats ok im ok at watching missed tackles and being ran over. My fav quote from Michael Griffin was after the Jets game he said it was nice to pick Sanchez off because people make fun of him for being ran over by Sanchez. Um ya you should be made fun of for that your a Saftey hes a QB thats not all that big and thats a guy that flintched last year against the Bills when he lined up as a WR and same guy who lost a fumble for a TD on Thanksgiving when he hit a linemans bumm and that can now be called "The Bummble" _________________

I heard him say that too! If we take him I would want us to trade down. _________________

Trading down is great if you can do it and still get the guy you want. With the new rookie salary structure, I dont think it is as necessary as it once was. In the past, you just didnt want to spend big money on certain positions. Now the money is not that big, so you can choose any position of need and not feel like you are getting ripped off. _________________

Gonna be keeping a close eye on Te'o, Warmack and Milliner tonight.
There's this part of me that would be fine signing Andy Levitre, drafting Chance Warmack and just having our interior offensive line locked up for the foreseeable future. _________________
