I began thinking he reminds me a little bit of Finnegan. TBH...idk if i'd be willing to go after a guy who has had that many red flags...but at a certain point in the draft bygones are bygones and you got to take a chance on a guy. I think the fact that Les Miles kicked him off of the team should have sent a strong signal to the kid to get his act together and shows him that he is not irreplaceable. On the other hand he could have easily done the total opposite and said to himself. Bye-bye LSU. Hello NFL and the unlucky team that drafts me. Being a realist though I have to imagine the whole situation puts a hurting on his pocketbook...and I know those players looking to earn their weight in gold can be incredible playmakers up until payday. Look at Haynesworth & countless other examples.
I haven't made up my mind yet but I was just curious how everyone feels. If he were to fall to us in the 3rd I'd have to think about it. |
If he's there for our 2nd 3rd, I'd give him a shot. Who are some LSU players that are pro-bowl NFL players. I couldn't think of any. |
IDK but Patrick Peterson and Morris Claiborne. LSU got a good pedigree of corners. Tyrann had to compete with some of the best corners we've seen come out in recent years. He was a top 5 Hiesman pick. |
Ockham we agree on something ....anyway Matheiu makes a lot of sense, I wouldnt say in the 2nd but in the 3rd certainly. And capton cutclass NFL.com has his NFL comparison as Finny. _________________

I used to want us to take a chance on Tyrann, but the more I listen to him talk, the more I think he has some serious mental illnesses. The way he talks is just so bizarre. He is always referring to himself in the third person. _________________

I doubt if honey badger is even on their draft board. Badger is a Jeff Fisher pick not a Mike Munchak pick. As we all can tell from Ruston & Munch's drafts so far, they do not pick guys like Mathieu. He is Pac-Man 2.0 IMO. I think alot of teams learned a valuable lesson at the Titans expense about taking talented but troubled CBs. Goodell's new conduct policy punishing teams for player incidents will push him off the Titans draft board also. _________________

I read somewhere on Twitter today that he didn't even show up for meetings with several teams he was scheduled too, including the Texans. |

The sad thing is that we usually get bad draft grades from the "experts". That draft would be straight A's. _________________

They will probably be taking a QB. I wouldn't mind Hunter but I think we should probably just draft BPA as long as that isn't Te'o. _________________
