Just sad for the families, the coaches, the GM, the fans, and anyone else that was involved. Sad day for NFL fans everywhere.

My prayers to the family and the child. Sometimes even when we have so many around us - a person can feel completely alone and lost. I know this first hand and it's a battle for many that is often beyond words.

My heart breaks for all involved, and Jovan, who failed to find another path before these events unfolded.

My deepest condolences Chiefs fans. It is easy to blame Belcher and I find myself doing so, but I send out my best wishes to all affected by this tragedy. Thankfully no one else on the team present was injured.

not a chiefs fan but i'm pulling for you guys tomorrow. my heart goes out to pioli and crennal for witnessing this man take his life.

There's been some sad stories to come out of the NFL in the past, but this one is absolutely gut wrenching. I feel for all parties involved, and hope that little girl gets support from the Chiefs organization and players.

Terrible, tragic event.

Charlotte Observer (odd source, I know) reporting it could be related to her coming home late from a Trey Songz concert. Maybe he thought she was cheating on him?
