Prediction: Who Des Rex name to Start at QB VS Jax?

A true conundrum, a puzzle inside an enigma as they say. Who will Rex name as starting QB for next week's game? After all, you hopefully assume that by Wednesday he makes the choice as whoever is the lucky soul needs to get the max reps in practice this week.

Does he go with Mark on the theory that Mark was "just having a bad game' (uhhh reality check a bad season but who is counting).. OR

Does he go with McElroy who is a traditonal QB, can use the vast majority of offensive plays and did perform solidly though not extraordinarily in the 7-6 'trouncing' of the Cardinals, OR

Tim who would be playing in front of a totally enthusiastic Jax crowd and who would more than likely pull off a major win using only 30% of the available offensive plays (as the rest of the plays aren't for him) leaving Rex with a MAJOR issue for the remaining three games?

Yer thoughts?

p.s If you think Rex is a comfort weanie, he names Mark, if you think Rex is smart he names McElroy, if you think Rex is a gambler he names Tim.

I think he goes with Sanchez. He's still the best QB on the roster...whether he gives us the best chance to win remains to be seen.

My fear with him going with Sanchez is that McElroy may never get another shot to start if he doesn't get a start this week. Especially with Tebow on his way back from injury and Sanchez' insatiable ability to suck.

I don't think you can start Sanchez next week. You don't bench your "franchise" QB for a third stringer if you don't really believe he's gone off the deep end. It should be McElroy or Tebow, but given Rex's tendency to do bizarre things, I can't say for sure it won't be Sanchez.

I think it depends on the temperament of the locker room and how well Sanchez reacts to the benching throughout the week.

If i was in media I would have asked Rex this question for the past 4 weeks (maybe 6 weeks)...

If Mark gives us the best chance to win, then really how bad are Greg and Tim? Really, how bleak is our QB situation, because if he's right and Mark is the best, then so help us because Mark is having an embarrassing year (we could start a thread just on all of his game changing mistakes this year).

He's going to go with Sanchez. McElroy sure as hell isn't leading us to the playoffs. Might as well let Sanchez get us a better draft pick Laughing
