I’m hearing that Darnell Dockett has been fined six figures from the Cardinals organization, & could have a limited role vs. Seattle. |
Hey just what we need! _________________

That's a pretty big disciplinary shot there.
Horton said today that he lobbied Whiz to let the Jets score. Dockett wouldn't go along, apparently. If he wants to back bite his coach he's gonna have to live with the consequences. _________________

Chances we trade Dockett in the offseason? I'm against it but Somers in his most recent chat said that it could happen. _________________

Did Somers consider the financial ramifications when he made that comment?
I mean, we can do it it's just going to cost us a good chunk of money. Trading Dockett means little FA action. _________________

With a guy like Darnell, this could get messy. _________________

Nobody thought it was Rhodes. It very clearly reads as just a hypothetical scenario. _________________

Dockett is being rude. He is my favorite player but he needs to listen to coaches _________________

Im sure it wasn't just his actions during the game. But also his snarky actions on twitter.
But this could go very very bad. Dockett could become bad for the locker room . _________________

Honestly his salary would be better used on the offensive line and at quarterback. Our defense has struggled to get pressure with him in the lineup and a guy like David Carter is showing up lately and we could just throw Dan Williams in to the 2-4-5 set, strengthen it against the run and go from there. (Big Dan played close to 50 snaps vs the Jets, he can do it)
The issue now is the money. There are big cap ramifications to getting rid of Darnell. But the downside of having him around this team, in this kind of a mood, could be worse. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

That's exactly the situation we're in, 100%.
Very disappointed in Darnell. Flat out, he's wrong on this. Coach tells you to do something to try and help your team get back in the football game, you do it. His reluctance to follow orders isn't surprising, that's the kind of guy he's been for years but that doesn't make it any less disappointing to me. _________________

All you heard when he signed his extension was the he was all about the team and carrying on the birdgang touch etc, etc.
Still has a lot of growing up to do it seems. I agree with Khodder on the money situation. We have Calais who we all consider near elite when it comes to 3-4 ends. WIlliams has emerged while Carter is more than capable. Depth is a concern but Dockett's money could be used anywhere on the offensive side.
I love Darnell but it could get interesting this off season. If Ray is incharge, heads may fly. _________________

Bolded: I'm confused, what does that mean? You mean could have been used, like past tense? _________________
