GET. REAL. |
But lets get real here. We don't know if he went after him. I haven't seen Jurecki or Somers report this.
For all me know they could of just gotten into an argument . _________________

I'm not saying that's what happened as I have no idea at this time but it was suggested (Though surely out of nowhere and based on nothing) that Rhodes going after Ken Whisenhunt may have facilitated things. IF that's true, he's on the first bus out. No questions asked. |
IF he called out whiz. I say good for him. Someone needs to call out his stubbornness. After losing 8 in a row.. emotions are going to be high. |
Someone needed to call out Kerry Rhodes when CJ Spiller embarassed him 4-5 weeks ago but you know what, Whiz didn't do that. And he didn't do that for a reason, the right reason. Scapegoating and violence don't bring a team together, there's nothing positive to be gained from that type of childish behavior. So instead of going in on Monday to his weekly presser and saying, "Kerry sure did a great job of tackling today..." and being a jerk, he kept his mouth shut and kept on plugging. If Kerry can't do that, see ya. There's the door, don't let er hit you on the way out.
AND AGAIN, who's gonna sign up to coach a a 4 win team with an unpoliced Kerry Rhodes after this? Seriously, who? I'm dying to hear names of guys who would be willing to coach a team where the players act like idiots and initiate confrontations.
Again, no idea what happened, all hypothetical but this is beyond ridiculous, suggesting this type of behavior is acceptable. _________________

I know. I stated openly this is purely hypothetical and as you admit, based on basically nothing.
Still, point stands on the theory. _________________

Release of frustations among teammates on an 0-8 skid is acceptable. People crack under pressure like that. It might not be what you want in a perfect world, but people do crack under pressure.
I want to wait for something more to come out before I pass judgment. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

You'd like cooler heads to prevail. Everybody handles pressure differently and some people will negatively react in a way that they shouldn't. You do that, you come back the next day, recognize you did something wrong and then you apologize in a sincere manner. If there's a punishment issued, you have to take it as a man. That's what happens in these situations. At no time, in no scenario, with a validation of that behavior be allowed by anybody. Coaches, teammates, front office and I had hoped fans. _________________

Not yet. Bickley may have gotten it wrong. Or exaggerated.
Shame on me. Hate Bickley and then all of a sudden use his stuff. _________________

It appears this is a hoax or something a poor beat writer took too far. Either way, I apologize profusely for posting this. I often remind people to make sure and use credible links for stories or news they post and here I go doing the exact opposite. I PROMISE, I will not let that happen again.
Once again, I sincerely apologize. This thread is now locked. _________________

Doug and Wolf now reporting on this. Saying it was an onfield incident that will likely lead to disciplinary action towards Dockett. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

| Probably the reason why the front office talked to Horton. Probably about discipline for Dockett or worst case scenario to talk about David Carter and his progress if he can fill in for a traded Dockett for draft positioning. |

Question -
Do you think a team would give their 3rd rounder for Dockett before the draft? I don't think they would be his guaranteed $ is done so it wouldn't hit our cap too bad... _________________
