theres this feelin im getting that TO is still a possible free agent on our radar....not a lot of TO talk has been going on so I figure I continue to beat a dead horse. what do you guys think about TT and his possible scheme to bring in Owens?

Well we managed to go nearly 24 hours without talking about it, but what the heck, lets do it again.
I would love it if TT got TO, he would instantly turn our below average WR group into a very good unit.
I also think it would encourage Brett to return if he had the best WR in the NFL to throw to.

TT wouldn't throw any money at Ryan Longwell, a proven player, but he's going to throw it at TO? It won't happen so lets quit even discussing it.

Are you saying TO isn't proven???
As for Longwell, if TT manages to sign Vinateri then thats an instant upgrade there. Longwell missed a few very important kicks last year and deffo cost us at least 2 wins. He was moaning a lot and he wanted to leave. Thats not TT's fault.

If we get TO in free agency and there is a contract that won't screw over the Packers if TO starts to complain, than I am alll for the Packers getting him.

Wherever TO ends up next, he going to have certain clauses in his contract that gives a team leverage if he starts playing up. Thats been the trouble before, teams have been stuck with him.
I really believe that even as daft as TO is, even he must realise that this next deal is his last chance. IMO whoever gets him will get his best years and will get a truly great WR. Fingers crossed its us!! Pray

It's really the only option for Favre's return, but TT won't do it.

I don't want Owens. All he does is cause distraction and ruin things. Look at the Eagles when he was happy; Super Bowl. When he complained at coaches; losses. He wants the ball at all times and will complain to anybody that will listen that he needs the ball. Then he will go to the media and start ripping our personel for it. Imagine, Favres last year, TO does not get the ball, so he rips Favre to the media. Bad final year for Favre.

Aside from the fact we shouldn't bring him here, TT would never layout the kind of money TO is going to get. And yes folks, he will get a large salary, though probably not much guaranteed. He will almost certainly end up in Dallas. All you pro-TO fans out there are operating on the assumption that TT wants Favre back. I really don't think he does. Every move he's made thus far have been not so subtle hints to Favre to retire. I think Favre is either thickheaded or is attempting to expose TT's actual motive.

Did TT shoot Favre in the face again?
