|
|
|
| With Rob Gronkowski out, Julian Edelman has been shining as of late. Very big play potential with his speed, elusiveness, quickness and versatility. Has lined up and caught passes out of the slot, split out wide, screens, underneath stuff and even the goal line. Has also lined up in the backfield and taken a few handoffs. Just how dangerous could he or will he be as an asset to his offense now? Any thoughts? |

| He could be a super star in New England. Outside of New England their skill players tend to come back down to Earth. |

He can be a good Welker replacement in this offense. Now just imagine if we had drafted Harvin. He'd be a slot god!!! _________________

Maybe he's a good ST player..... but he has 20 catches for 200 yards. Superstar? lol _________________

Stats don't matter, it's the potential impact and devastation he can cause for opposing defenses in a game. He has all of the talls, talent, and the right people around him.. not to mention perhaps the GOAT throwing him the ball. |

From what I've seen, Edelman is a free agent after this season also _________________

I don't see any scenario where they don't resign him. Welker's as good as gone and resigning Edelman will be one of the Pats' top priorities. |

He has only recently gotten back on the field after breaking his hand earlier in the year, so the bulk stats aren't going to be overly impressive.
In the past two games, though, he's had two receiving TDs, a punt return TD, a fumble recovery TD, a forced fumble, and a 47 yard end around.
I swear he's also the most interesting player in the NFL. He was a QB in college and has taken snaps at QB, RB, WR, CB, LB, PR, KR, and kickoff coverage in the NFL. In the AFC championship game last season, he played 27 offensive snaps and 27 defensive snaps. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

He's a good athlete and a perfect fit in the Pats scheme, I wouldn't call him a rising star, unless they give him Welker's spot at the end of the year, otherwise he will be buried on the depth chart. _________________ I personally guarantee the Ravens will have a better record this year than last. |
