SO GET THIS:
I go to the doctor earlier for something unrelated. Then I ask him about something I have on my foot. I thought it was a corn or that I hurt myself playing basketball or something related to that.
Turns out, I've had a wart on my left big toe for two years. I never noticed it until it started killing me while working during the summer.
Long story short, he sprayed it with liquid nitrogen and I was thinking haha cool that doesn't hurt, bring it on.
3 hours later, I feel like punching a wall because it's throbbing so much. Wtf _________________ Yo, is that time machine done yet? |

| So, anyone interested in the Broncos at -10 on the road in Oakland? Anyone at all? This game sucks. Seriously considering giving the points with the Broncos and taking the under. This game is going to be something like 34-10, but if I bet the under, I can just see a cheap touchdown in garbage time by Brandon Myers pushing it over by a hair. Should have got this game when the total was 51.5. |

MOD EDIT: REMOVED |
That's not gonna fly, especially considering we have good members on here who live in the middle east. Post anymore stuff like this and you'll get a warning or worse. |
Can you at least delete that crap so I don't have to stumble across it again on accident |
If there's one thing I know how to do, it's edit posts _________________

Anyone else want to murder the guy from the usell.com ad? He might be the worst human being alive right now. _________________

Sox sign Koji Uehara. Not sure what use a rebuilding (or "contending ) team has for a 37 year old reliever on a 1 year deal, but he's a nice possible trade chit. |

Don't know why they'd be interested in Revere. He isn't currently a good hitter and it would be a joke to put him in RF. They have Kalish if they want a young guy who can't hit (though Revere can play defense)
Besides, they only like old and declining players. Have to give the illusion that they're "contending" |

On second thought, that describes Victorino pretty well and they were interested in giving him $38.5M..... |

Revere at least finds his way on base reasonably well and would come with a lower price tag. _________________

What possible injury does Ron Brace have that he is always on the injury report while rarely getting snaps on defense? _________________

Are you thinking of the right guy? Revere the last 2 years:
.267/.310/.309/.619
.294/.333/.342/.675
I'm certainly not going to call a .333 OBP bad, but 29 walks in 540 plate appearances is worrisome. He has no power at all and seems to be a great candidate for a regression back to a .260/.300/.300 type season.
No real plate discipline and no power = I'm not a fan. Guys who are pure slap hitters and have good wheels might have a really good stretch here and there but the number of them that are long-term useful pieces are few and far between.
IMO giving up anything of value in the way of prospects for a guy who will probably max out at a .700 OPS if he's lucky is bad asset management. Especially if the plan is to play that guy in RF.
I loathe the Victorino signing, but he's a way better option than trading for Ben Revere. |
