how much do you bet to win 9700?? |
If you look at my picks for the week, I listed my big bets in there. I took a 4 leg parlay at two units (I bet $100 units on parlays, and I play almost nothing but parlays at this point because I hit them so regularly) which paid 11-1, and that was the Dolphins, Redskins, Colts and Bears all favored by 5 to 6.5 points, so that paid just under $2200. My 8 leg money line parlay paid a little over $5700 (and that's with three big favorites in Green Bay, Denver and the Pats included), and the rest were all 2 leggers with 1 or 2 units on them. Only lost on those damn Bears, again. I blame Troy Brown. |

You're going to have to wait until the playoffs then, I think. Not really seeing anything in the early lines for this week that I like. Might play a 3 leg with Washington, Chicago and Green Bay all at -3, about the only thing on the board right now that looks appealing at all. |

That means they are favored to win by 3 points, right? I assume the parlay is betting they go over that margin of victory ?

Yeah, each of those teams is favored by 3; Washington at home and Chicago and Green Bay on the road. All divisional games, which gives me pause. They all basically need to win by 4 or more for me to cash, and one could push at 3 to make it a 2 leg parlay. If two pushed, the bet would be void and I'd be refunded my money. |

Also, Denver is -16 at home against the Chiefs. I may have to bet that game and take KC +16 out of spite for the Broncos. |

Joke 1: You have friends?
Joke 2: I thought all of your friends were born that way, and thus always retarded?
Joke 3: I prefer half retard, myself. _________________ A sunny disposition is worth more than fortune. Young people should know that it can be cultivated; that the mind like the body can be moved from the shade into sunshine. Thine own reproach alone do fear |

So if McDaniels leaves for another HC position, which I do think is a distinct possibility, who do we go with at OC? |

I really hope we bring Chip Kelly in and make him a coach in waiting . _________________

That would be awesome, but I don't see that happening. I only see Chip leaving Oregon for a head coaching job. I would love to see what he could do with Cam Newton in Carolina. _________________

Anyone else watching the Patriots' single A affiliate versus SMU? Scouting Margus Hunt in this game. Forced a fumble on a sack that ended up being turned into a field goal for SMU.
