My guy's at Optimum Scouting have the top 5 tackles like this:

1. Luke Joeckel, Texas A&M
2. Eric Fisher, Central Michigan
3. Justin Pugh, Syracuse
4. Dallas Thomas, Tennessee
5. DJ Fluker, Alabama

They have Johnson at 6. I'd swap him and Fluker personally.

Pugh is the guy I would like at the top of the 2nd.

Lots of talk for Kyle Long as the 6th-7th guy at tackle.

Lewan and Matthews stay. Big ouch for the fans of the Bird Gang.

This a game changer.

I'm not worried over this. Don't have to decide between Lewan & Warmack. It might however affect #38 whereas as any chance guys like Fisher or Johnson probably don't make it. I'm assuming of course Warmack makes it to #7. Keim already questioned our lines' physicality so it would make sense.

Bolded: You need to have options. Always need options. No Matthews, no Lewan, far fewer options.

And ya, it really hurts us at 38 because everyone gets pushed up a peg or 2. This is not good for us.

Be interesting moving an NCAA OG to NFL Tackle, but he is a very athletic player with good feet.

Aboushi sucks. RT only and we've got Massie.

I like Aboushi. He's very good in pass protection and he handles the speed rush well because he has light feet and is agile

Oday Aboushis is the polar opposite of this statement. Literally. Stiff and slow. He's a RT.

Put on the GT game. Terrible and that's not a quality opponent either.

All scouting reports ive seen say he's quick off the edge and a very good pass protector and from what ive seen, i agree. I rewatched the Georgia tape on him just now and saw a lot of good from him. He was able to get off the edge in pass pro and got good drive in the run game.

Then you didn't watch very well, no offense. Gave up 2 sacks and 3 hurries. Beat around the corner 3 times in that 4-6 minute clip alone.

Slowe and stiff, he's a right tackle. None of the scouting guys even have him in the top 8.

If you put Oday's tape on next to Bobby Massie, you'll actually see two very similiar players. Not a bad thing for Aboushi, it just doesn't help us.

Heard from a guy on twitter that has heard some scouts say they might move Aboushi to Guard in the NFL.

I think i watched an abridged version of that game because i didnt see the QB get sacked at all.

I'm following their twitter, that's not their list. They like Joeckel, Fisher/Johnson (Said they'd battle at the senior bowl for #2), Pugh and Long. Didn't mention Aboushia or Fluker.

I like Pugh but he needs to put on 10 pounds.

He does not need to do anything. He can anchor vs a bull rush and drive block in the running game. His functional strength is what matters and he has enough of it to play in the NFL at 290ish which is what he is currently listed at.

The only reason he may need to add 10-15 pounds is because that's the weight range we usually target. That said, what we usually target may or may not even apply right now. New general manager, new head coach, new line coach. Nobody knows what we'll be looking for.
