I predict we put up 40 points on the Steelers and force them into 5 turnovers (3 INT's, 2 fumbles from sacks).
And we officially end Pittsburgh's season to the tune of "U MAD BRO?"
What a freaking epic GTD! Awesome job RTID! _________________

Ravens win, the officials won't be perfect, Steelers fans will talk about how they would have won by double digits in Ben had played, there will be an NFL Gen thread about how the Ravens are frauds, and it will all eventually end with a mulititude of posters labeling Joe Flacco as an average at best quarterback who is carried by the team around him and therefore has no impact on the Ravens' success.
And we as the Ravens forum will proceed to celebrate amongst ourselves and create avatars which acknowledge any and all Raven haters. |

Yeah something in the 34-42 range sounds right. We're back at home in all black playing our biggest rival who we are capable of annihilating if we choose to. Let's choose to. We flex

It will probably be closer than 37-0, I'd be mighty surprised if the Steelers didn't score at all. Besides,
| DontTazeMeBro wrote: | No Roethlisberger=they can't beat us. I really think this Steelers team is average at best and being carried by him. Without him they might not be top 20.
Ravens 31, Steelers 13 |
didn't exactly come to fruition either. I understand the Ravens are a jekyll and hyde team offensively this year, but that doesn't erase the fact you're playing one of the best defenses in the league, even if it is at home.
I don't expect the Steelers to win this game, but I'm fairly confident they'll make the post season as the 6th seed. If this game ends up anything like the last one or even 20-10, 20-13, etc. I'll feel very good coming to the Vault in the postseason with Ben Roethlisberger under center.
I understand the divisional dominance has shifted in the Ravens favor in the past year, but let's not act like the Jaguars are coming to town. You can expect a competitive game. _________________

I'm expecting a closer score just because it's the Steelers.

As for the poll. I definitely had to vote for New England. Why? This thread right here. | This quote tree, especially the bolded, brings me many lulz.

When you lose a game like this, when your defensive linemen were constantly being held, your DBs were called for phantom pass interference/illegal contact/holding while the other team's receivers got away with blatant OPI in the end zone, and all this led to at least a 14-point swing in the score of a game decided by 1 point, how can you accurately assess your team and know what you need to fix going forward?
When you get robbed of a win by terrible officiating, you don't get a clear idea of how good your team really is, and while you try and fix as many issues as you can, the picture is too murky for you to be able to say definitively, "we lost because we didn't do X and Y the way we should have and the other guys did W and Z better." |
I'm sorry your offense couldn't ice the game when gifted 2 first downs...
I'm sorry your DB's can't cover and leave open WR's on the last drive of the game.
I'm not sorry we won. | I'm sorry you're drowning in a sea of delusion.

As for the game...

As for the GDT, I think it's pretty obvious that any poster could have made that. Nothing special. If you were posting on a different forum you'd get more credit because this forum is just too easy to post on, and the mods obviously can't spot the ba... errrrm... spot a thread in need of locking when they see it. _________________

Someone (probably SnA) really should have sig quoted that stupidity.
Adding "Who's the delusional one now?" after it would be perfect _________________
