| Quote: | "But I was impressed; I thought he made some really good throws," Warner added. "Some tough reads or went to places where you might not expect a rookie to go and deliver the football well."
Warner said Lindley did make some of the classic rookie mistakes, but overall he was "really impressed" with the way the 23-year-old played. |

Coming out of SD State with he first start, yeah he wasn't to bad. People that had too high of exceptions are wrong, kinda like everyone that thought Kolb would come in with no OTAs and a partial TC and take the team to the Superbowl.
Lindley has potential, is he the answer? not sure but let him develop the right way. Declare Kolb the starter, sign a vet back up to be the #2/#3, and let Lindley move at his own pace. _________________ Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Warner did also say that it was obvious things quote, "got away from him" in the 2nd quarter. The Rams put a little more pressure him at that time too. _________________

| I'm actually a bit more optimistic in Lindley than I was when Skelton was in his first start. I'm excited that Lindley played one good half of football. He went 17/24 with one bad throw and at least 2 drops on good passes. Skelton was never a guy that could sting passes together like that in any half of football. That's why his completion % is always low. Lindley has his flaws like Skelton but think there's a better chance Lindley will elevate his game to another level than Skelton ever did imo. |

Warner has said something about every QB at some point. |

I think he means Kurt never said anything positive about them, which is sorta true. He tried to kinda throw a compliment to Skelton when he won the job in August but it wasn't much. Just said, "Well he has won some games and he knows the locker room". That was about it. _________________

Might have a look at Lindleys throws on the All-22 tonight. I will tell you this. He looked like the most comfortable in the pocket of any of our three QB's, he looked the most "complete" in terms of attacking all three levels of the defense with his arm. Hopefully the All-22 will show me something about his reads/progressions.
One play that really impressed me (until the point he threw the ball) is his second interception. Watch the feet on the dropback, watch him climb in the pocket. What his head, not starting down one receiver.
The end result was an INT because of either a miscommunication, Larry and Ryan not seeing the same thing in the defense, or one of Larry and Ryan thinking the route should have been different. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

His 3rd INT was ugly as can be. Off the back foot forcing it to Larry in double coverage and under thrown. I see what you mean about his second INT though, he was moving around trying to see who is open. _________________
