Everything I heard said that he was the most talented of the RB backups. Why does it seem like he's going to be such a non-player going forward? What makes Moreno the better choice? |

Hillman will never be anything more than a scat-back. Moreno is the better choice because he is an every down back and can run the ball in between the tackles. Hillman needs a pretty big hole in order to run effectively, hopefully over time he will start seeing the holes quicker and squeezing through them, but right now Moreno is our best option. _________________

Hillman is a change-of-pace player. That's all he will ever be; and that's not a bad thing, every great team has role players. He can be a dynamic player in the open field but he will never be an every-down back. Plus the thought of him protecting Peyton in blitz pick up scares the hell out of the coaching staff (and probably Peyton as well).
Knowshon got all the playing time he did last week because, with McGahee hurt, he is our only complete back. Knowshon can run inside or outside, catch passes out of the backfield and pass protect. Ball does most of those same things but not as well as Knowshon and, as I said above, Hillman is a change of pace player. _________________ big_palooka:
