People can argue if the rule is right or not but it's being applied the way it's written. Can't go to the QB's head under any circumstance. I don't agree with the RULE but the call, with the way the rule is written, was correct. Fine able? No. Not to me at least. No vicious intent at all. _________________

I think it's idiotic that is a penalty, but within the rules I can see why they threw it.
The fine is just stupid though. _________________

He shouldn't have been fined. There was no clear intent with the play. The penalty was more than enough. |

Barely a penalty let alone a fine. Not sure what the NFL saw in this one. _________________

They penalized and Aaron Maybin for sneezing on Andrew Luck earlier in the season. The worst part was that it negated an Antonio Cromartie pick 6. |

Wow..If he makes that play hes a god, if he goes matrix and pulls a 360 degree barrel roll right and tucks into a ball and pops out of it , hes playing with in the rules of the game....huh....
the game needs athletic plays like this to further the overall excitement of the game.. i dont agree with helmet to helmet hits or plays of that nature at all but you got to look a lot of these plays realistically. _________________

I know its not the call in question, but I still can't get over the fact that Golden Tate ran into a corner, jumped over his back, and didn't get called for OPI. _________________

The money goes to charity. | Roger Goodell's Human Fund. amirite?
He clearly hit him in the head. All hits to the head that are forbidden (as this was) also carry a fine. _________________

WHAT! This is ridiculous!
The call was one that should be made every time, but there wasn't any intent there to be worthy of a fine. This is the by-the-book penalty, but no fine type of hit. Considering that the Seahawks would've likely won the game if it wasn't for the penalty, there was no reason for a fine... isn't losing the game enough?
Very disappointed with the NFL on this one... and I'm a Dolphins fan and supporter of most fines in general. _________________ With much cheese,

Im afraid that if somebody's towel some how touches a QB's head, it is a fine. Come on man, this is just ridiculous. Its not even a flag let alone fine. So if Earl Thomas does this 3 times, that equals a suspension? _________________
