I'd rather have Joe Mays than McClain. _________________

Maybe he can become Tim Dobbins or something one day, a situational goal line player but I don't see much else in this guy.

No he isn't.

No one goes to New England to be anything other than a bust on that joke of a defense. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |

I don't think he's to slow. You don't need to be particularly fast. He ran a 4.67. He might not be good enough reading plays, shedding blocks ect... |
My impression from the Raiders games I've seen was that McClain is too slow and just too unathletic. I think his recognition and blocking shedding could've played a part too. It's a shame, I liked him coming out. Good thing I'm not in the Broncos FO _________________ Broncos-Bulls-Cubs-CU-Blackhawks |

| It's early to talk about the draft, but getting rid of McClain means that it increases the odds that the Raiders might pick Manti T'eo. |

In the secondary, yes. In the front-7, sometimes. _________________

Pretty clear that T'eo wouldn't be dropping anywhere near us as it is, regardless of who Oakland are looking at.
And there is no way that McClain plays anywhere near that 4.67 speed. A brisk walk would have you shooting past him. |

| Just NO. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like we are pretty set at the LB position. If DJ stays at middle I dont think we need to pick up or draft a LB. I think we are pretty set with WW, Trevathan, DJ, Mays, Johnson, Miller, Irving. Pretty young and talented group seems to me. Anyone agree? |
