What's the deal guys?
What are the Raiders going to do with him? Tell him to sit at home the rest of the season? Will they release him? Are they going to let him practice again? |
The rumor floating around is that the Raiders are seeing whether they can
suspend him for the rest of the season without pay, then cut him, rather than just cutting him now. |

If I'm Bill Belichick, I'm on the phone with Nick Saban and ask him how to get the best out of Rolando McClain. _________________

NFL Films' Greg Cosell on Rolando McClain:
| Quote: | | "He's been awful ... arguably the worst starting 4-3 middle linebacker in the NFL. He can't move" |
| Quote: | | "He doesn't play with any quick twitch at all. He's almost plodding in his movements." |

Don't play him in a 4-3 would the first bit of advice. _________________

I can answer that....send him back to college against far inferior competition than he faces in the NFL.
McClain's stiffness and minimal instincts dont lend well to the NFL. I think he could still be decent as a buck in the 34...but thats it. Thats the only useful spot I see him having on an NFL field, and even thats iffy. _________________

Funnily enough the Raiders still haven't cut him and it seems people were a bit hastey in reporting it. |
Spoken like his biggest fan. He can "definitely" be a starter for another 8 years? He hasn't shown anything suggesting that to be true. _________________

That would be a silly phone call to make, as its irrelevant to what Bill Belichick would want to know, considering we play a 4-3 and have 3 of the best young LBers in the league at the moment. _________________

Quite the opposite in fact. Mcclain is hot garbage. |

Oh I know. Looking at most of the comments about him I'm also the only one who saw him hit the wrong hole for the big Law firm runs on Sunday. _________________
