well we have reached a new low. Our coach felt the need to address our team and make sure that we don't have a letdown after playing the Donkos close. WTF?
I'm sure we'll get killed and make Cam look like an all-pro.

I think we win this game unfortunately. Carolina has problems stopping the run and look pretty suspect on defense all together. Philly abused Carolina with some rookie 7th round draft pick. I can't imagine JC getting under 150 yards in this one. _________________

It would be such a Chiefs thing to win a couple of games towards the end and not get the first overall pick. _________________

In any other draft year I would say that would stink, but honestly, if we ended up in the top 5 I think we will be ok. Hell, we could be sitting at #5 and still have Geno Smith on the board. _________________

I see JC getting less.
I see Daboll going.
"Oh they can't stop the run? We must throw it 50+ times and have JC run it 6 times."
Then Romeo in the presser is asked, why did JC on get 6 runs?
Romeo answers. "I didn't know JC got so few carries." |

Correct, Bryce Brown was a 7th round, but had he not gone MIA at K-State last year, he would have been a 2nd - 4th round pick. He was the #1 recruit when he was coming out of high school. The kid is good and that's why he was able to have a successful game behind that atrocious O-Line.
Having said that. Charles should have a big game. However, I think the game will be close and will come down to which QB makes a play in the 4th. We all know we have ZERO chance if that is the case. _________________

Quite an admission from our QB. I for one appreciate the humility. Unfortunately this is not for his play on the field, but for his mustache. _________________

I guess the Kansas City Star is adhering to the motto "Any news is good news."
On another note, I am somewhat surprised they didn't dig up a TMZesque story about a Kansas City player cutting in line at the grocery store. _________________

I was wondering where that was coming from. I really wish Crennel would get a press secretary because the more he talks (and coaches for that matter), the more of an absolute embarrassment this organization becomes. _________________

He's starting to have more one liners than Herm! Although with Herm he at least said what he felt and it wasn't stated from utter confusion. _________________

The recent events don't change me wanting the Chiefs to keep losing. We've gone way too long without having a franchise QB, and the 1st overall pick gives us the best chance at that. And I'm still hoping that we fire Crennel and Pioli. _________________
