There had been a murder/suicide event this morning at KC Chiefs practice facility and a nearby residential.
This is all breaking right now. No name has been released yet as to who was involved. |
Rumors are that it was ILB Jovan Belcher. This is a sad situation. _________________

Don't get me wrong, I am going to try it and hope to be pleasantly surprised. I'm just not a big fan of peaches and I really don't like pecans, unless they are in pecan pie. A beer brewed with peaches and pecans just sounds weird. _________________

Lastnight, since Drew was with his mom, I made my extra spicy chili. Here's the recipe...
1 lb. ground deer
1/2 cup diced red onion
2 cans chili beans
2 cans Rotel Mexican with Cilantro and Lime
1 pack of Williams chili seasoning
24 oz can tomato sauce
7 oz can La Costena chipotle peppers in adobo
1 Tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 Tablespoon chili powder
2 Tablespoons cumin
water or beer (optional)
In a large skillet, brown the meat with the onions.
In a food processor, puree the chipotle peppers. Dump them and all the other ingredients, except the water or beer, into a large pot. If you like runny chili, add the water or beer until it is the consistency you like. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for an hour.
I was going to post a pic of a bowl of chili, but it just looked like a bowl of chili. I served mine with crackers and colby jack cheese. I washed it down with a bottle of Henry Weinhard's Private Reserve, which tastes a lot like Fat Tire. _________________

That is so wierd. at BWW's last night they had the Henry Weinhard on tap and the bartender said it was the worst beer ever. I am not sure if it is the Private Reserve or not but she said it sucked.
:EDIT: I believe it was Woodland's pass IPA _________________

If it was an IPA, then it likely was the worst beer ever. _________________

Neither does Slam and that explains a lot. If he drank, Jerry's mistakes would be easier to deal with. _________________

Nah my dad was an alcoholic so I never delved into it. With seeing how he was I didn't want to follow in those steps.
Sometimes I wish I did with watching this cowboys team play _________________
