Aaron Schatz of Football Outsiders posted this on Twitter yesterday:
"Right now BAL has best special teams through week 11 in history of FO stats (i.e. since 1991)"
Found this to be pretty darn cool. I'm not sure how he compiles the formula to determine ST value, though. I'll have to check that out.

Damn. It took me the first game to realize we improved by leaps and bounds and I love them more and more every week. I had no clue about that. WTG guys.

Read the bit under "DVOA for Special Teams" here
Its basically got to do with the expected points gained/lost on special teams and comparing it to the league average for the year.
After adjustments this years Ravens are actually 3rd best since 1991
