Yeah I get that but both guys were caught at the combine, which suggest to me they had some type of issue with smoking, seeing how they couldnt quit for a few weeks before they went to the combine. That is what I was getting at, but to this point it hasn't been a problem.

Ehhh its not that simple. It can stay in your system for a while if you're real hardcore with it. I've had friends with that problem freaking out for internships and tests 
Point is, even if they stopped for a good amount of time, there's a shot they could still test positive. So from a football standpoint, they could not be idiots but still fail because of an underestimation. Still hella risky business though.

Yeah there is something to that, I've read that the more you smoke the quicker it gets out of your system, but those guys are n great shape so it usually gets out quicker with guys like that because weed is fat soluble and sticks to your fat cells. Either way though kicking weed isn't as hard as some might make it out to be, and maybe getting kicked off the team is what he needed. My point was that there are guys that had a problem with weed that corrected it, and you don't hear about those guys as much because its not as good of a story.
