Miami will be home against the Pats this week and as much as I hope we can win this game, our defense could not stop Luck or Locker Tom Brady is a mean monster. We need to win to stay in the playoff hunt and give the Pats a much needed loss.

Pats: 33
Dolphins: 20

Gameplan for me: force TB to audible to the run by only putting 6 (run the nickel all game) in the box. Then rely on the boys to stop the run.

Of course we won't do that. So this will show me if we are capable of getting consistent pressure with this front 4. No pressure = no chance. Plain and simple here. Brady has one of the best percentages against the blitz so if we are put in that situation it favors the Pats.

Offense
If we can't have consistent drives it will wear out the D on the other side. We need to pick up first downs every drive to try and keep the ball out of Bradys hands and keep our D fresh. This is the classic 'beat Peyton Manning gameplan'.

Special Teams
Gotta win the special teams battle. Make them go the length of the field. They'll be able to do it, but we have to win the field position battle.

And finally, if we lose the turnover battle it is probably 95% chance we lose. The pats win about 75% of thier games during the BB/TB era. My guess would be that it they win over 90% of the games in which they win the turnover battle.

Here is RyanT's big test. He is fresh off a confidence boosting game vs an elite D in the Seahawks. He rallied our team, three times in the 4th quarter. I don't think the Pats have nearly as good of D. But they do have guys that can create turnovers.

It could get ugly, but I want to see some positives from this game. We have to have a high compete level. If you give up/in, they will bury you. You have to fight until the final whistle. As good as they are, they aren't nearly as good as the points for show. They run the score up by putting thier 1's out all game. In saying that, if you don't do your job, you will pay.

Pats are coming off two big games, teams like that usually come back down to earth so I think we're gonna be in the game till the end. Divisional upsets happen all the time in the NFL and we are at home. Gronk, Jones, and Mankins will be out so we have some leverage on them. I don't think it'll be a shootout by any stretch.

We all remember how that gameplan worked Laughing

This is either going to be a blowout by NE or we barely beat them.

Should've Said No: A Ballad to Bill Belichick, as written by PD47...a huge shout out to my girl Taylor Swift for writing a song of this caliber...

Should you dare to sing along: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ao138HwSqow

It's strange to think the games you used to play,
Super Bowls, and wins, everything is goneeeeeee.
Yesteryear we found out about you,
Even now just looking at you; feels wrongggggggg.
You say, that you'd take it all back, given oneeee chance
It was a moment of weaknesssssss and you said "Yesssssssssss!"

You should've said no, you should've gone home,
Should've turned the cameras off when they told you so.
You should've known that word of what you did here'd get back to the league.
Roger should've been there, in the back of your mind
We shouldn't be asking ourselves 'Why?'
You shouldn't be begging for forgiveness from the league...
You should've said no, Billy and you might still be clean!

We can see that you've been lying,
Billy you knew all the right signs, to seeeeeeeeee
But do you honestly expect us to believe,
You could even win when clean?
You say that the past is the past, you need oneeeeeee chance,
You had a moment and the Giants said, 'NOOOOOO!'

We can't resist,
Before you lose tell us this:
Was it worth it?
Was it worth this?

Noooooooooooooo....no, no, nooooooooooo....

The biggest key to this game is :

Having the stadium sprinklers come on early in the game. You have to understand Tom Brady hates to get his hair wet if there is no shampoo and conditioner available. I know this because I have showered many times with Tom and I know this will throw his game off completely.

Prediction with early sprinkles:

Miami 31 Patriots 27

This next hit goes out to the greatest coach in the history of the NFL. Of course, the title, a few letters off from our Taylor Swift original, is:

"Dear Don"

www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF3u1q_T8aw
...ahem...

Long were the nights when
Sundays once revolved around youuuu.
Counting the touchdowns,
praying the D won't fall through, againnnnnn.
My brothers accused me of losing my mind
but I swore we were fine!

You coached a great team
Now you're gone and it turned into pain
And I lived your pass game
But Dan changed the way that we play
Wonderin' which version of the Dolphins I might get on the tube,
today...
Well I still really miss you and this song is to let you know why:

Dearrrrr Donnnnnn,
I see it all now that you're gonneeeeee
Don't you think it's been too long
To keep sucking?
The kid in the jersey
Cried the whole way home, I should've known.

Well maybe it's me
And my blind optimism to blame
Or maybe it's you and your old age
To retire and just go away

And we'll add your name to the long list of legends who
don't....still play....
And I'll look back in regret how I took them for granted
'Come back...to us Dannnnnn'

Dearrrrr Donnnnnn,
I see it all now that you're gonneeeeee
Don't you think it's been too long
To keep sucking?
The kid in the jersey
Cried the whole way home....

Dearrrrr Donnnnnn,
I see it all now that you're gonneeeeee
Don't you think seventeen is enough
Quarterbacks to play in these dark losing games?
Oh I loved...you....so, I should've known.

You are an expert, at football
And keeping the line blocking
Always impressed by acing those tests
All the team that you ran by had tired lifeless eyes
Cause you smashed. Their. Mouth.

But time took your success
Before Wannstedt won,
So don't look now...
We're losing with Cameron again
In this sad, empty townnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Dearrrrr Donnnnnn,
I see it all now that you're gonneeeeee
Don't you think it's been too long
To keep sucking?
The kid in the jersey
Cried the whole way home, I should've known.

I see it all now that you're gonneeeeee
Don't you think it's been too long
To keep sucking?
The kid in the jersey
Cried the whole way home, I should've known.

You should've known
Don't you think it's been too long?
You should've known

Looking forward to this game and how Philbin/Tannehill does in his first game of this rivalry. I'll be happy if we can remain competitive against a clearly better opponent.

My prediction for this game:
Miami 23
New England 28
