We officially are the worst defense ever. Bowles has really flushed this team down the toilet.

This game was close most of the game. If Nick Foles produces like this in the forth every game...well we better go trade for Tebow to close out the game.

Other tibbits I got out of the game:
Brandon Graham had another good game, though against Doug Free
I actually liked the offensive gameplan. Why oh why do we not run this type of thing every game
Riley Cooper needs to be in the wide receiver rotation more often. If this means sticking Maclin/Jackson in the slot or on the bench, so be it. The back shoulder fade for the TD we've never ran with either of them two at receiver.
Foles made some nice passes, he's getting better, but he should have had another interception.

Actually, I can't say I miss it. I still wonder how my teams are doing but being able to walk away from sports has really freed me. You be surprised how much time I wasted on it. I wasn't just a ealges fan, i watch any sport that was on TV. I even got into nascar, Phire told me to take a break so I'm doing so. I'm here in spirit and can't leave you guys during these hard times.

Sounds interesting. What made you take a break?
I'm curious because I think I could never ignore sports. But you seem to have a very good case.

I think it was more just a well placed ball back shoulder fade is thrown to his outside shoulder. But your dead on about Sunshine needing to see more reps even if its just RZ...

I don't know that Cooper is ever going to be special in any way, but I do think he is better than he has been given credit for in the past.
Is the light finally going on for Foles or was this game just an abberation? I don't think he has the potential to be a superstar, put the team on his back, type of QB, but he could develop into a good starter who can win you games if other players are able to give him some help. I guess we'll just have to see.

The question is, is solid going to be enough. It seems you need to be known as an elite QB to get to the Super Bowl these days.

We will see this year....if Houston wins it all it shows that an offense where Shady and Bryce are the the core feature...with Foles and the passing attack playing second fiddle can work well in the NFL.
