Only 5 teams (Atl, Balt, Det, SF, Pitt) don't have enuf cap room to claim Babin right now (need $1.64m). But all could create it by tomorrow |
If teams only need $1.64m in cap space, I can't see how one of the lower ranked 4-3 teams that need an improved pass rush wouldn't put a claim in _________________

Babin is now a Jaguar. In other news, the Raiders released ILB Rolando McClain. Any interest from Ravens' fans? _________________

Yeah. I'ma little intrigued. I'd be interested to know what went wrong for him in Oakland. I know coming out of Bama he was praised for being a film buff and leadership. He is a physical threat. Sometimes it just doesn't work out on a bad team.
Don't like that jab he took at the Raiders on twitter. _________________

Meh, I kinda think of Rolando like our McClain.
Not really that athletic, but a thumper and not really anything special. But heck, what do we got to lose, right?! _________________

Rolando McClain is a combination of the worst qualities of Jameel McClain (lack of athleticism) and Dannell Ellerbe (lack of discipline, attitude issues), though Ellerbe has certainly bucked some of those concerns this year. I'm not really sure I see all that much potential in him, even though I guess a change of scenery could may harness that talent. Doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would mesh well with this team. _________________ "The really important kind of freedom involves attention, and awareness, and discipline, and effort, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them, over and over, in myriad petty little unsexy ways, every day.” |

I mean if you can't listen to Ray, BP, Ed, and Sizzle then you probably won't last in the league. Not that I want Rolando (I'm meh about him), but I think we could get him to mesh with us. _________________

Yep, although I think Rolando offers at bit more athletically than Jameel and he's a better tackler/block-occupier too. He's still not a guy you want out in coverage though and that's definitely the biggest weakness for Baltimore's ILBs so I'm not sure how much he would really add to the team. I wouldn't be against the Ravens picking Rolando up if he clears waivers since Ellerbe has been banged-up and the next-man-up is currently Ayanbadejo. |

Damn, he's only 23?
If we could get all the potential, if he has any in him...we got a good LB for the next decade. _________________ RAY RICE

But when Titus Young gets released in a couple hours...
Is he too much of a troll to play for us? That would def be a high risk-high reward type signing. _________________ RAY RICE
