Good luck to Loggains. He seems to have a pretty good reputation.

I was never a fan of the Palmer hire to begin with, but I sincerely hope this actually turns out to be a good move and not just a panicky "chicken with their heads cut off" reaction.

Well this is something..... Munchak made a move. Like most said, Palmer was a temp fix. I really didnt hae him the failure to get some involved was frustrating.
I always felt that Loggins should have been the first choice anyway. Munchak isnt going to be fired. He will now have a chance to pick his guy rather than comb over scraps.

Very surprised it wasn't Gray. I'd say he's more deserving of a mid-season firing.

Hopefully we're learning/ learned the lesson of hiring guys just because we know them.

Wow I'm really surprised. To me, this looks like Munchak flailing for an excuse. He better hope the offense looks alive for the rest of the season.

After losing to the second worse team in the NFL right in front of the Chiefs he deserved to be canned. What a crock, Palmer couldn't draw up an offensive play to save his families life.

Overall I'm happy with the decision to fire Palmer. The only thing making me hesitant was that I didn't want Jake to have to learn a new offense and I liked the way Palmer modernized our offense to become more pass-heavy. Plus it seemed like he was finally figuring out how to call plays to help CJ get going. With that said, his play calling still left a lot to be desired and he was terrible at figuring out how to adjust during a game. Seemed he was always locked into his original game plan and not flexible.

Wasn't the problem, nor was he great. Doesn't make much of a difference, I don't think.
