John Glennon @glennonsports
#Titans have fired Off. Coordinator Chris Palmer and replaced him with QB coach Dowell Loggains.
Wow. Honestly thought Gray would be fired before Palmer but hooray for change!!! _________________

BOOOOOOOM. Good riddance.
Jerry Gray has at least made strides. Some of the blitzes he's been drawing up have been very good.
Palmer has been trash. More than trash. _________________

Like I said, I dig Palmer's scheming, but his playcalling has been meh at its best, terrible at its worst.
Anyone got a lowdown on Doggains? |

He's done a really good job with KW so far. I'll look for him to push the ball more and get it into Britt's hands. _________________

I'm suprised. Not that he was fired but, that we actually made the right move. Palmer and Gray were both on the hot seat. I don't think we have Gray's replacement on our current coaching staff so, why not get rid of Palmer. It took Palmer too long to take advantage of the Jags weakness in the secondary (considering their two starting CBs were hurt) on Sun. Our playcalling was terrible. I look forward to seeing what Loggains does with this opportunity. |

Shocked about the timing more than anything.
Guess Munch realized that heads are going to need to roll after that loss if he doesn't want it to be his own. I'll hold off on my celebrations until I see Loggains play calling. _________________

Yeah I'm pretty stunned. Honestly I didn't hate Palmer, and he did some good things, but the play calling clunkers were simply inexcusable.
Very odd timing, but let's see what Loggains has got, I suppose. _________________

Wrong coordinator IMO. Palmer wasn't great but at least his unit wasnt dead last in nearly every statistical category. Having said that, Palmer was just a short term solution anyway. They were prepping Loggains for it the whole time. _________________

Been a fan of Loggains for a while. Excited to see what he does with the opportunity. _________________
