Oh and on the subject of Sam, interesting break down for you guys:
Teams Ranking in the Top 10(3-2-1):
96/176
54.5%
1249 yards(208.2 YPG)
7.1 YPA
7 TDs
6 ints
76.2 QBR
Teams Ranking Between 11 and 20(1-2):
75/118
63.6%
795 yards(265 YPG)
6.7 YPA
5 TDs
2 ints
90.2 QBR
Teams Ranking Between 21 and 32(0-2):
39/55
70.9%
403 yards(201.5 YPG)
7.3 YPA
2 TDs
1 int
96.3 QBR
Sam's numbers vs. defenses in the top 10 against his numbers vs. defenses outside the top 10 in QBR allowed:
In the Top 10:
96/176
54.5%
1249 yards(208.2 YPG)
7.1 YPA
7 TDs
6 ints
76.2 QBR
Outside the Top 10:
114/173
65.9%
1198 yards(239.6 YPG)
6.9 YPA
7 TDs
3 ints
92.1 QBR
Basically, Sam's been a victim of his schedule this year. He's faced a murderer's roe and had he faced an average schedule with around 2 to 3 top 10 defenses, it's likely that Bradford's QBR would be sitting around 87 to 90 right now.
For example, Matt Ryan played 2 top 10 defenses in Arizona and Denver. In those games, he has 2 TDs to 5 ints.
Peyton Manning has faced 3 top 10 defenses in Pitt, Houston and ATL, in those games he has 5 TDs to 3 ints.
Tom Brady has faced 4 top 10 defenses in Seattle, Arizona, Baltimore and Denver. In those games, he has 5 TDs to 3 ints.
Robert Griffin has faced 2 top 10 defenses in Atlanta and Pittsburgh. In those games, he has 1 TD to 0 ints.
In fact, looking at the top 5 QBs in QBR that are currently starting(Smith is benched and Ben is hurt), Aaron Rodgers is the only one having success against top defenses. Rodgers has played 4 games against top 10 defenses in Houston, Arizona, Seattle and SF. In those 4 games, he has 12 TDs to 2 ints.
Now then, Bradford isn't on the level of these QBs. My point in showing this is that even the best QBs struggle against elite defenses. Brady, Ryan and Manning have all been pretty ordinary against them this year.
So Bradford's would probably be rated in the 11 to 14 range right now if he was playing a typical schedule. I'd say that's promising for the future for 2 reasons. The first is that playing all these top defenses prepares you and challenges you. The second is that he's doing what he should against the lesser defenses. _________________

Sam is clutch man, Even In San Fran his rookie year.
He was a Daniel Fells catch away from winning the game, The kid is fearless. _________________

Next year will truly tell the tale of Bradford's career, however with what he's shown thus far in his rookie year as well as this season is enough to make me believe with an offseason to work with Amendola, Quick, Givens and our new pieces; I feel he'll be a top 12 QB next year at the worst. _________________

I thought Bradford played well this week. Especially if you consider no amendola and the drops. _________________

Agreed and I really liked that he scrambled on that drive a couple times and picked up some big first downs instead of throwing the ball away or forcing it. In his post game interview he talks about how Shotty is always telling him to do that more and he finally did it. The run game wasn't there the Niners did a great job of taking it away and his safety blanket Amendola wasn't playing. Thought he did a good job of leading the team this week. He needs to start connecting more with somebody other than Amendola or Givens though. _________________

Good, I was just talking about how Bradford needs to make that a bigger part of his game. _________________
