I like #4 the best, but a combination of them all would be how I would like o come out of this;
Joeckel, Thomas, Warford, Johnson in the first for rounds.
What have you seen in Otten that you like so much? _________________

I don't really know Thomas which factored that away for me and I'm not impressed with Warford (Who I have a breakdown to post for) either. He projects only to RG and even though we need a RG he still has flaws up and down his game. Nevermind the fact that his weight is a constant problem. If I remember correctly, that didn't go over well with a previous RG here. Somebody named Lutui, I think... |

he' a very well rounded TE. He doesnt have Housler speed (but its still good speed) but he has the toughness after the catch, good/strong hands, good blocker.
I wanted to mock either Eifert or Ertz in the 2nd round but i assume most of you would have problems with that |

I personally don't see the value in adding another tight end at this stage. _________________

You may be right. Maybe its best to go for TE in free agency. |

If we don't take a tackle and decide to roll with the young guys, Potter and Massie, a tight end who can block and also contribute as a receiver wouldn't be the worst pick in the world. |

Where do they play Levi? I think they'll keep him but im just confused where they would play him if Potter continues to play well. Thats why lately im hesitant to draft oline round 1 |

I'm not convinced Levi returns and I really don't think it changes our draft philosophy at all. If he does return though, he'll likely be back at LT in which case, a TE who can block and contribute as a pass catcher again wouldn't be the worst pick in the world. |

We'd also have to change our offensive scheme for me to go along with that. More base 2 TE sets with Housler and Eifert/Ertz and a stronger commitment to the run game. The problem with that is that we also have 3 talented WRs (Fitz, Roberts, Floyd) so I can also see why running a spread offense would be better. That's lots of talent that should be seeing the field on every snap. I would love either Eifert or Ertz in the 2nd round. That's good value and it helps us in several ways. It all hinges on Whiz and his plan though. If our tactics next year are gonna be the same, then I'd say no to a TE in round 2. _________________ Favorite 2015 Prospects: Tyler Lockett WR, Tevin Coleman RB, Laken Tomlinson OG, Shaq Thompson LB, Nate Orchard OLB |

Otten is getting love from lots of nfl people.
Was it Rang or another website i read that he was a riser.
he has good hands, but he is Housler clone
It is Eiffert or bust for me this year as TE. |

That's a good point but for the sake of the argument it should be noted that when Todd Heap was healthy and playing, we were running a ton of 2 TE sets. Had he stayed healthy, who knows what we would have done offensively? |
