I listed all of the head coaches in the history of the franchise. The comment underneath is simply stating that Gailey has the worst record out of all the coaches they've had since 2001. |
I get what you did but he coached like 5 games!

Better yet, Rex Ryan. If he's fired. |
I have it.
Chip Kelly HC/OC
Rex Ryan DC.
An offensive and defensive mastermind join. |
That would be an awesome situation. But, don't get your hopes up........ Damn Bills. _________________

If Rex gets fired he will likely want to HC again. I'm guessing Gailey, Mularkey, Garrett, Turner and Reid get fired so se team hires him. |

The head coach of the Buffalo Bills in 2013 will be none other then.....
wait for it...
wait...
this is it...
He ain't going anywhere, we'll finish 6-10 or 7-9 and be seen as an improvement because we are the Bills and no body good or worth while wants to coach us and we are not going to pay two coaches. _________________

Yeah, I still see Gailey coaching Buffalo next year as well. Unfortunately. _________________

I also doubt Chip Kelly would take the HC position, but I wouldn't mind it! Our offense would likely end up looking very similar to the Patriots, but with a little more emphasis on the run game. (Kelly has said his Oregon offense wouldn't exactly transfer to the NFL and he would further modify it to take advantage of the personnel already on the team.)
Kelly was once a DC for Johns Hopkins Univ., but I don't know if he ran a 4-3 or a 3-4 there. I'd like to see us ditch Wanny and talk to Dan Quinn from Florida about being our DC. (See link) http://www.gatorzone.com/football/staff/quinn He'd keep the 4-3 in place and since we have the personnel to run the 4-3 now, I don't want to switch back to the 3-4, essentially re-inventing the wheel again. One might question Quinn's readiness to be a NFL DC, but he is familiar with Will Muschamp's D from being on his staff multiple times and I don't think we could lure Muschamp away from the Gators to just be a DC. Besides, this wouldn't be Quinn's first stint in the NFL. _________________

Really? Not a chance IMO. He doesn't have a young QB developing as a issue, he was given talent and the picks last 2 seasons are working out.
I really can't see a cop out here |

There is nobody else on the market that's proven/isn't already a 1 time/2 time failure as a HC candidate.
Chi Kelly is the only one I could see us going full monty for and he's not leaving Oregon for us, no way no how.
He wouldn't leave for the Bucs, and they're head and shoulders above us. _________________

The more interesting question NOW becomes, okay, who's going to be the big name guy in two years that we have a reasonable shot at getting?
Once Chan "steps down" when his contract runs up because he's not getting re-upped. _________________

An offensive and defensive mastermind join. | I would prefer if Chip Kelly brought in an OC, I dont like the HC having the OC duties. It didnt work out well for Gailey and co. _________________

Gailey says Fitzpatrick is the QB of the future
| Chan Gailey wrote: | | We've always said we're looking to develop a quarterback for the future, but I don't think it's the near future. I think we're talking about Fitz being the guy for us and as we continue to get better, I think he's going to be the guy. So I see us being able to be very productive as an offense with Fitz at quarterback. I've always said that and I believe that. |
