I have to imagine this was taken out of context..
Saying something like "I am not perfect" "There will always be a play or two that is a mistake" etc.. is what I HAVE to feel he was intending to say.. _________________

Oh I'm sure his intent was to say "I don't know why the fans expect all my plays to work?"
But that's not what we're saying. We're saying his plays are dumb and shouldn't have even been called in these situations in the first damn place.
He's the exact opposite of ole' Not so Tricky D!ck. _________________

I can't stand Gailey. I can't stand his play calling. What I heard him say makes me believe that he is utterly stupid or he thinks everyone else is. "We're just trying to get to 7-7. That's where the world champions were last year." Yeah, ok Chan. You going to win the AFC EAST at 9-7? NOPE. I know we've all said it but with Ralph around, nothing will change. When Ralph isn't, the Bills might not be either. If they are though, we need a Youngblood coaching the Bills. The gap between players and coaches in their later years is too wide. Players need to respect their coach but relating to them helps immensly. _________________

I'm done with this bum.
Who can we honestly hire though? I guess I'm okay with taking a risk with Chip Kelly. Him with Spiller might be moreso of a nightmare than CJ is on his own, which is hard to believe is possible.
Chan needs to go. Now.
And he can take his Harvard grad with him. _________________

Here's the bottom line:
| Code: | Rk Coach Years Record Pct Playoffs
1 Marv Levy 1986-1997 112-70-0 .615 11-8
2 Wade Phillips 1998-2000 29-19-0 .604 0-2
3 Lou Saban 1962-1965, 68-45-4 .601 2-2
1972-1976
4 Chuck Knox 1978-1982 37-36-0 .506 1-2
5 Joe Collier 1966-1968 13-16-1 .448 0-1
6 D. Jauron 2006-2009 24-33-0 .421 N/A
7 Mike Mularkey 2004-2005 14-18-0 .437 N/A
8 Perry Fewell 2009 03-04-0 .429 N/A
9 Buster Ramsey 1960-1961 11-16-1 .407 N/A
10 Gregg Williams 2001-2003 17-31-0 .354 N/A
11 Chan Gailey 2010-Pres 14-29-0 .326 N/A
12 Kay Stephenson 1984-1985 10-26-0 .277 N/A
13 John Rauch 1969-1970 07-20-1 .259 N/A
14 Hank Bullough 1985-1986 04-17-0 .190 N/A
15 Jim Ringo 1976-1977 03-20-0 .130 N/A
16 Harvey Johnson 1968, 1971 02-23-1 .080 N/A |
Gailey has posted a worse record than Jauron, Fewell, Mularkey, or Williams. He ranks just above Stephenson and Bullough, coaches who guided the Bills to back-to-back 2-14 seasons in the mid-80s. _________________

There are lots.. Chip Kelly stands out in College ranks and I'm sure we can hire.
Give Wade Phillips another shot |

Just want to say two things.......Chip Kelly wouldn't think twice before turning down the job in Buffalo. JB, did youvreSlly post Fewell while listing coaches with better winning percentages than Gailey? C'mon _________________

I listed all of the head coaches in the history of the franchise. The comment underneath is simply stating that Gailey has the worst record out of all the coaches they've had since 2001. _________________

Still so angry we didn't just retain Fewell.
Now our defense AND offense are in shambles and there is nobody I see on the horizon that could salvage the mess we're in. _________________

How about Rob Ryan?
Better yet, Rex Ryan. If he's fired. _________________

I'd take either or !! Rex Ryan drools over our DLine and young secondary, he has his potential Revis (Gilmore), Jairus Byrd. He would also get his QB of choice and gets to stick it the the Jets who IMO are way further out than us.. |
