Idk. The Heisman winner never does well in the bowl game following(besides Cam). It also is Landry's last game and maybe Stoops's aswell. I think it will be a close game. _________________

The sanctions against ohio st really ruined the bowl season. Wisconsin vs. stanford might be the worst rose bowl ever. _________________

Ya outside of the Championship Game this is prolly the best match-up you'll see. _________________

I think Wisconsin might have been the 4th or 5th best team in the big 10
Ohio State
Penn State
Michigan
Nebraska
Then Wisconsin. watch this be the year that Wisconsin finally wins the Granddaddy though _________________

Or even ohio st. vs. stanford.
Does anyone want to watch stanford destroy wisconsin? _________________

What's wrong with Wisconsin (apart from being unranked) - they did drop 70 points on the Cornhuskers in the Big 10 Championship game. _________________

Im interested to see what happens when Blake Bell runs a draw and faces Damontre Moore straight up. Should be a good battle. _________________

I really think that if we take Justin brown with a 6 round pick the kid will pay out dividends. He is a good PR and has solid hands at at 6 ft 3 is viable redzone threat.
he is faster than he looks on tape. He has a great 2nd level speed. He was really good at the 200m in high school because of that, he toasted me in HS _________________

Basically what it means, if my research is correct is that he can play now, as its not as bad, but as the spinal column continues to narrow, it will be dangerous to play football game, as it puts more pressure on his spine, and due to the added pressure it will be tough for him to put together a full NFL career, and its impossible to tell how fast and much his spinal column will narrow, it could be 15 days from now or 15 years from now. The impact of football doesn't help either.
To be honest, I'd much rather grab a guy without said issues. If he didn't have the condition I would be clamoring for us to draft him as much as anybody here, but spinal issues and concussions are probably two of the most dangerous injuries one could suffer, and he's already got a condition and plays a high impact position.
Spinal stenosis is the reason Cooper Manning didn't play past high school. It was the reason Michael Irvin retired, as well as Chris Samuels and Marcus McNiel retired. Questions of spinal stenosis were one of the main reasons Gronk dropped in the draft. Its a very legitimate concern. |
Oh ya it's a big concern. But as you said Last Gronk has it. And Gronk is dominating the NFL right now. Samuels and McNeil both had pro-bowl careers. Now his career might be cut short a little early but for that 1st contract+ up until he gets near 30, you'll get him playing at a very high level I'm hopeing.
Now what would be ideal for me is trade back with a team like SD who wants to move up and grab Joeckel, pick up extra picks(hopefully a 2nd & 3rd) and take Jarvis out of the Top 10. |
Never said Gronk has it, people questioned wheteher he did but he's never been diagnosed with it. Even the question of it dropped him to the 2nd. Meanwhile its FACT that Jarvis has it.
I want Dion Jordan if we draft a 3-4 OLB type, that kid is special. He covers like a corner, has pass rush ability, and unreal length and athletic ability. Oregon uses him a lot like Florida used to use Jevon Kearse back in the day. Get him in an NFL weight room and he might become the best pass rusher out of this class, and has proven he can cover so he's a dual threat in a 3-4. _________________

Once again Jarvis Jones's Production is 2nd to none. He's Von Miller 2.0. He will be Next years NFL ROY. He can come in from day 1 and change a defense. Dion Jordan is much more on potential, he's not as much of a sure thing as Jones seem to be(back situation aside) _________________
