The only one of these final five I can see the Saints losing is against the Giants. Question is will 9-7 nab the Saints a wild card?
Only way I see a yes to that question is we go 5-0 next five games.
Although one can wish... I stand by my prediction of 9-7 (think I posted it mid-September). _________________

I Agree jcvoodoo, except that I can see them maybe losing to the falcons. not the giants.
the upside is playing against the giants, Bucs and Dallas. We just have to hope everyone else does bad lol |

Looking at the remaining schedules... 9-7 just might make that last wild card spot.
Dear Santa: I wanna see New Orleans go to the playoffs this year. Is that too much to ask?? _________________

Everyone of these games are both winable and losable.
8-8 or 9-7 are mote realistic than 10-6 but my glass is half empty over here. _________________

For some reason we always seem to smash both the Giants and the Cowboys so I see those as wins. Atlanta is tough but we normally seem to do better vs them in their house than in our own, and vice versa. Tampa Bay and Carolina are actually the two games that scare me most TBH. _________________

I can make a good argument for each one of these teams beating us...
Falcons: It's not like we blew them out and Witherspoon will be back. There are the top dog in the NFC and will be playing in their house looking for respect and would love NOTHING more than to put the perverable nail in the coffin for the Saints season.
Giants: Defending champs playing like it. If thier defensive front can get after Brees which is highly likly than they can slow the Saints offense down enough to win. Eli Manning knows exactly how to attck Spags defense, he's seen it many times before.
Buccaneers: Bucs are tough and are in every game. They battled bak in our first game and even jumped out to an early lead in the begining. They likley have a mindset that they gave that game away instead of losing it and will be confident in the rematch.
Cowboys: The boys are up and down but are very capable of putting up a W aganist the Saints. Remember when we were 13-0?
Panthers: We lost to them once already this year and they ALWAYS seem to play there best aganist us. They have been in alot of close games this season and ain't as bad as there record indicates.
While I dont see the Saints going on a losing streak... I also don't see a 10-6 record on the horizon. Like I siad, 8-8 to 9-7 is more realistic. _________________

I don't know man...
Carolina and Tampa will play us tough like it's there Superbowl because both would love to deliver that kill shot!
Those games are always close just like Atlanta. _________________

If the Saints win out they make the playoffs, But the teams they face will either be Green Bay, SF or Seattle.
And If they lose one more game That means either Tampa Bay or the Vikings get In. |

Not saying they can't do it... Just that the two division games (Carolina & Tampa) will be the tough ones. _________________

What about the Skins if they win out... even if they finish 9-7 they hold the tie breaker. _________________

Wow, if we had been able to pull of the W, and if Chicago had held on and beat Seattle in OT then we would be looking at a 6 way tie at 6-6 for the 2nd WC spot. That would have been fun... _________________
