49ers defeat Saints 36-32 in crazy final 5 minutes of divisional round of 2011 NFL NFC playoffs.

Remember this Whodats… Giants fans cheering louder than Niners fans knowing they wouldn’t have to come to the dome to face the Saints high-powered offense. Now the time is here again for either the Saints to get redemption for their last second playoff loss or for the 49ers to validate their impressive victory last post season.

Which will it be… the Saints high octane offense or the 49ers suffocating defense?

Let’s discuss… its game time!

I hope he does as well... I think he's the real deal though, I was real high on him coming out of Navada and though he was a steal at the top of the 2nd.

Jim Harbaugh can coach quarterbacks and Kaepernick has a unique skill set who will burn us with his legs if we don't have gap containment!

I wouldn't mind Kaepernick doing well, as long as he doesn't do enough that the 49ers win.

Brees: Everyone needs a hobby

Willis: So what's yours?

Brees: Resurrection.

Anyway this is going to be a tough game, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to it. I like beating teams like Oakland, but a good hard fought battle against teams like SF is something I look forward to.

A few things we need to do:

1.) Run the ball. This is going to be a tough team to run against, lots of 1-2-3 yard gains. We need to keep at it. A healthy rotation of Ivory/PT/Ingram/Sproles will be needed.

2.) Protection. Please, no leaving either of our tackles 1v1 against Aldon Smith. Ok? Thanks.

3.) Defend the run.

I just hope CarMichael was watching the 49ers vs Bears game and realizes he will need to send doubles and chips at Aldon Smith!

Dude is a monster off the edge!

Wow, this is going to be an interesting game. We gotta stop that ridiculous pass rush or we lose. I don't expect much from the ground game today, however, PT will prolly come out looking for blood after getting knocked out last year, and i'm confident he and Ivory can get just as physical as that niner front, so we may see some surprises there. We give Brees a chance to throw and we will certainly score, but its all on our o-line. If this line can open up a few lanes and stop the Smith rush I like our chances.

Our defense is gonna bend, theres no doubt about it, but they just cannot break. Basically been the story all year, for several years actually. For Brees' whole tenure actually. Which defense shows up, the one that made Alex Smith look like league MVP in last years divisional round, or the one that dominated the raiders last week?

No blocking for Ingram on his first carry

Great way to start this game.

Our o-line isn't even attempting to block, they know this defense is great and they didn't come to play.

When Wilson moved to DE did he donate his neck roll to Casillas?

Frustrating to see the ref keep walking and walking and walking to mark where the punt went out of bounds.

Evil or Very Mad
