I think a mod didn't want a Freddie Mitchell debate going on.

Brown working on ball security:
http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/news/article-1/Brown-Working-Hard-On-Protection/4fa3e82e-b8df-4d04-bec0-bcf5c21c8854
| Quote: | "We're doing a lot of stuff at practice, scout guys are going after it a lot more, trying to game-simulate it because we don't really do contact (in practice)," Brown said Wednesday. "It's making me work a lot harder, too.
"They almost got two (fumbles today), but we're over-emphasizing high and tight, keeping it real tucked. They didn't get me." |
But then Shady
| Quote: | | "I talked with him a little bit today," Brown said of McCoy, "He thinks I'm going very well. He told me, 'Don't change a thing, keep playing with confidence and don't pay attention to what everybody else is saying. Play your game and keep doing what you're doing.' Protecting the ball and things like that, that'll come." |

I don't think I've seen the words forced missed tackles and an eagles skill player in the same sentence for a long time!

ProFootballFocus doesn't count broken tackles as broken tackles, they count them as forced missed tackles. They also do not count jukes as tackles eluded, they count them as forced missed tackles. Combine the two and you get their "Forced Missed Tackles" count that they eventual turn into their "elusive" rating that ends up having guys like Lagarette Blount as the most elusive runner in the NFL. It's another thing PFF does that is stupid. Make that a missed tackle rate or something, bowling over a guy doesn't make you elusive. _________________

Running over guys makes you look cool and terrifying. If I was in Earl Campbell's way, i'd be scared that he would run me over. Not get me to break my ankle like Shady. _________________

Woah there, you're using big words for an Eagles fan
Let's start with the basics, what in the deepest bowels of hell are "broken tackles"?????????? _________________
