A little premature. They said he's questionable to come back in the game _________________

He might be our most replaceable starter on D but it really hits our depth
But it means Braman will get playing time and that guy is an animal _________________

Brooks Reed said he'll have an MRI Friday. Thinks he has a pulled groin. "I think I'll be back pretty quick." #Texans |
Let's just hope it isn't serious. Even if he misses time, I like our depth (like you guys said, we are deep at OLB.) Mercilus will get a chance to start. _________________

I obviously don't want to see him get hurt but Mercilus has much more potential and athletic ability. I hope he takes advantage of this oppurtunity like Reed did last year. _________________

Texans D takes a hit -- Brooks Reed expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a groin injury. No surgery, but tough loss as home-field race heats up. |
Time for Mercilus to show what he has. _________________

Maybe it'll be a blessing, giving Brooks time to rest up for the playoff push. _________________

Kub just said Brooks has already began to run in the pool and on the field. That's a good sign! _________________

Brooks is officially back at practice. He practiced fully today, although it was a walk-through putting in the gameplan, but Kub was quoted as saying he was moving around nicely out there and was really eager to get back to it.
Kub also said he has a good chance at playing this weekend and that if he makes it through Thursdays and Fridays practices, he'll be out there Sunday. _________________

If I'm Kubiak I would still start Mercilus and let Reed come off the bench. I have been impressed with Mercilus far more than I have with Reed this season. _________________

I agree. But the bigger question is when Reed is back in the flow do we go Mericlus and Reed as the primary rushers with Barwin the one rotated in every now and again. _________________
