They can be slowed down if you don't bite on playaction. It's a lot to expect out of the Pats' defense, but I'm sure that's something Belichick will stress in the run-up to that game. Just tell our secondary to trust our front 7 will hold against the run.
I don't think that's unrealistic to ask them to do. Even if they get a few first downs running, I think it's realistic to think with 4 or 5 chances our front 7 can get two consecutive stops against the run and force htem into 3rd and long.

It's a basic NFL rule that has been messed up and directly cost their teams points in consecutive weeks.
They are idiots. People who are idiots shouldn't have high paying jobs.

Pretty sure that the Niners had J. Smith, Bowman and Willis in garbage time against the Bears.
That's starting defense, not even just blocking FG.
People just love to hate on Belichick whenever they have a chance to question his judgements because it so rarely happens that they get the oportunity.
