Scott Wells will be starting this week! Who else is excited?
Also, I'm assuming this means Terrance Ganaway will be our new starting FB? _________________

Great new getting the leader of our O-line back. I am excited to see him play again.
Do we even use a FB that much? I don'y remember seeing Miller on the field with the offense too much. Either way I like both moves. |

It will be wonderful to have Scott back. Haven't really been able to see what he brings to our team.
Now if we can just get Schott to hand the ball to Steven more than 13 times. _________________ LANCE KENDRICKS 42 RECEPTIONS 519 YARDS

I wouldn't really care if Steven only rushes if 13 to 15 times if Daryl Richardson is also running it like 13 to 15 times. But us only running the ball 20 times in a game where we're greatly struggling to move it through the air was dumb. Although those fumbles really hurt us. _________________

I agree that it doesn't matter whether it is D.Rich or Steven or even Pead; but we need to utilize the run more than we do. Steven was running really well and showing that the Jets didn't know how to wrap up during tackles.
What do you think our line looks like with Wells back...?

Agreed. I think after Sam's performance against NYJ, we need to go into Arizona with a ground and pound game-plan and only change if Sam shows up early on.
As for the OL, not sure. I think I'd probably give Shelley Smith another week after his performance especially considering Turner's versatility so I'd go:
Saffold - Smith - Wels - Dahl - B. Rich(might consider Hunter here if he's ready to go and can play well) _________________

I had been pretty impressed with Smith since he had come in(considering circumstances), but he was not good last week. I can't believe how many times someone blew right through his spot in the line.
Sam frustrates me so much. After the niners and the first drive of this recent week I was so confident and then BOOM he is just horrible. Not completely his fault, and at the same time the whole team looked bad, but the inconsistency hurts. I guess I just need to be more accepting of the fact that we are the youngest team in the league... _________________ LANCE KENDRICKS 42 RECEPTIONS 519 YARDS

I think we will see Harkey at FB. He actually got a target last week. _________________

Kendricks has been praised for his blocking out of the backfield, so I'd imagine he'll get more... _________________

You know what I'd love, if they used Kendricks as a FB and used him as a receiver out of that spot. Most teams don't pay near enough attention to the FB in the passing game. In fact, I'd love to see us line up in a Weak I or Strong I, run a play-action, have Kendricks slip out of the back-field after being lined up at FB and run a wheel route. Most likely, he's left open and it results in a huge play. _________________
