Chudsinski intrigued me a lot last year, and to an extent still does, but I know a lot of Carolina fans were calling for his head this year, and Khan obviously liked Mularkey better last year.....

Mularkey was much more of a Gene Smith choice than a Shad choice. Like said in the pregame to the press conference, it was more of him rubber stamping the choice than his actual choice.

I never understood why anyone wanted Mike Mccoy last year-he called a great running offense but eliminated the passing game completely (which, he didn't really have a choice because of the horrendous QB, but he never really proved to actually be a good OC).
And then this year he has an elite QB....

That doesn't matter, he isn't what Caldwell is looking for.

He wants his Mike Smith. Someone he can trust and work hand in hand with. Like I said in the other thread, it doesn't matter who we interview, Greg Roman is that guy.

The assumption is Greg Roman brings Jim Tomsula to be the DC and Geep Chryst as his OC. So essentially you are raiding the 49ers and I don't see that happening...I am working on a few scouting reports to dig into the Colt's personnel but I would take a look at either people who worked with Tony Dungy or Greg Roman.
