Fluker looks like a guy we don't want on our team.

If we are looking at OGs I think he has value.

But as an OT I just don't think it is going to work against the elite speed and moves he will see.

We need pass protectors and that is not what DJ Fluker is.

I came away far more impressed with Lane Johnson.

I don't even like the idea of his pass pro inside.

He can be a real good OG. He only really struggled a couple times against Jarvis Jones. Fluker played really well.

Jonathan Cooper is awesome.

I watched him against Virginia Tech and while he is big and powerful he moves really well and is a rock in pass protection.

Isn't Fluker a junior?

Are you assuming he is coming out at year's end?

Sabah said he is not coming back.

The more I watch of Lane Johnson the more I think he could be a 1st round pick.

He's leaving early.

The guy is oozing Solder.

Johnson to me is interesting but a much bigger risk than Cooper or Warmack.

Bigger risk at a more important position, or less risk at a less important position?

I go back and forth on that but I would take an upside LT over a OG every time if they have a similar grade. I think Warmack is really good though so I'd take him over Johnson. Maybe Cooper too. I'm very high on him as well. We really really need OT help so our team need could push me to Johnson. With how bad our OL has been I would keep Carimi at OG if he plays well there. We need him to pan out regardless of which spot its at.

It will be interesting to see how the OT class shapes up with early declarations.

We may have a great option sitting there for us.

But to me the 2 OLmen most likely to be dominant NFL players are Warmack and Cooper.

I think if we don’t sign any kind of FA Olinemen and keep our 1st round pick then I would take Cooper over Pugh, Johnson or Fisher…I think we are at the stage now where simply adding talent up front is a much…Cooper I think is a better and more pro ready talent that would improve us quicker than any of those three tackles could…I think having someone as athletic with the overall skill set of Cooper would really help Webb at LT if we stuck with him there and added an OT later in the draft to compete with both Webb & Carimi…if we trade down into top of the 2nd round then Johnson or Pugh could very well still be on the board and then the value of taking a potential LT makes a lot of sense…I also think Cooper would be gone by that time anyway.

I wouldn't take Cooper over Fisher. After that it really depends on how they view Carimi.

I am with you Mike.

The Bears OL needs talent over any one position. We need someone we can send to a Pro Bowl, someone we can run behind on 4th and 1 and someone who we can count to always win a 1 on 1.

Now Fisher is where the debate with Cooper starts for me and I want to see more of Fisher.

What do people think of Larry Warford, OG, Kentucky?

He has the size at 6'3" 343lbs that the Bears seem to like and while he looks powerful he does not seem to be near the athlete that Warmack and Cooper are.

But if we go OL and OL then he could make a nice LG.

1[22] OT Eric Fisher [Central Michigan]
2[54] OG Larry Warford [Kentucky]

I think he's a power RG. I like him but I think Louis would be a better fit for LG then he would.
