If Anthony Fasano was the Bears replacement for Kellen Davis, I'd be incredibly disappointed.

while Fasano wont blow you away, he is a way better player then Davis.

And I think majority of the money in FA will go to a starter on the O-line.

IMO Fasano makes a lot of sense and then work in E-Rod more. I was super impressed by E-Rods lead blocking last year, now i want to see his reciving skills.

Fasano makes a ton of sense with an expanded role for E-Rod or another drafted receiving-type TE. He's been a virtual lock for 35 catches and 5 TD per season the past several years in Miami. He won't be flashy but he'll move the chains a few times a game which is something we were sorely lacking with Davis and Spaeth.

So what Full Backs are on the market?

FBs scheduled for free agency:
Casey James (HOU)
Mike Cox (ATL)
Jerome Felton (MIN)
Lex Hilliard (NYJ)
Quinn Johnson (TEN)
Greg Jones (JAX)
Corery McIntyre (BUF)

I'm still salty over the Tyler Clutts trade but I'd love Greg Jones.

CBS Draft Prospects is listing 17 fullbacks in this year's draft. The highest-rated is Lonnie Pryor out of FSU with a 4-5th round projection. Most guys are 7ths or undrafted.

Otherwise, the Bears are looking at finding a DE, TE or LB to play FB.

@seankjensen: We're about 48 hours away from official start of free agency and this much is clear: NFL owners and their execs are controlling the market

@seankjensen: My guess is, within the next 24-36 hours, you'll see more players re-sign with their own teams b/c they're afraid of dwindling market.

@seankjensen: Tuesday before deadline RT @CoreyBohler When do you anticipate flurry of cuts/restructures to start so teams (like Bears) can free up space?

Random comment: it's amazing how many people (not on this forum) think "restructure" means "pay cut."

If Cox is fully healed from his ACL injury, he would be a good pick up.

Not to sure about Jones, he is getting up there in age, 32 i think.

But who i would love the most is Felton from Min. He is one of the best Run blockers out there and a bonus would be taking him from a rival in the division

I am fully expecting the Bears to execute their entire plan on Tuesday afternoon and announce 4-5 deals at the same time,

Tillman Extension
Marshall Extension
Davis Cut
FA OL signed
Roach/Urlacher re-signed
