And he is a Bay Area kid so there may be a chance. _________________

Couple questions:
Why would the Jets be so motivated to move up to the #5 pick overall to give the Raiders their 1st, 2nd and 3rd?
Shouldn't it be #10, #42 & #74?
Doesn't Louis play RG? |
We trade back and give them McFadden, and all that gets us is the 42nd and 74th? Trading out of a top-5 spot alone would get us a 2nd and a 3rd (ATL gave up 2 1sts, a 2nd, and 2 4ths to move from 10 to 6 to take Julio Jones)
If we trade down and trade McFadden, it'll be to two different teams and we will get at least a 2nd or multiple mid-round picks for McFadden. |
My thinking exactly... since when does a team get your best player for trading up in the 1st round? We move down 5 slots and lose Mcfadden for a 2nd and 3rd.... sounds like a raider move... |

As well, this leaves us with a huge hole at rb... our defense might get fractionally better but our offense will get exponentially worse... regardless of how poorly mcfadden was doing prior to the injury i dont think you can argue our offense is better with him in... at the very least hes someone the defense has to account for, which creates opportunities for our WR`s to step up.
My draft trade:
Trade back further, keep mcfadden... accumulate more draft picks.
Trade #5 Pick for #15-20 + 2013 first rounder +2012 2nd. Moving back that far i dont think this is unrealistic. Sure, theres no RG3 in this draft. But there is always a team that falls in love with a top 10 prospect but isn't picking till later. See RG3 trade, Morris Claiborn, Julio Jones,etc...
Consensus is our 1st round pick is probably gonna be used on a pass rusher... there's always great ones that go in the middle of the 1st... don't need to be picking top 10 to find a good pass rusher and imo Montgomery isn't even the best available at that point. |

| Nice draft, i think trading back is big possibility, given how much McKenzie values draft picks. |

why are we cutting Seebass? I like it overall, just a few minor quips. Also, I would prefer Star.
But I think trading McFadden and DHB is great. _________________ If the Raiders don't trade back at 3, I want Fisher, Ziggy, or Star. |

Stanton would beat out Pryor in an open competition. Why would Baker come to Oakland when could sign elsewhere for LT $? What has Bergstrom proven at LG and Ausberry at TE to anoint them starters absent competition? That offense is a recipe for disaster, imo. _________________ 2013 Mancrush: DT Richardson, OT Joeckel, FS Vaccaro, FS Rambo, WR Dobson, RB Michael, TE McDonald, OT Foketi, WR Swope |

So unrealisticly bad. It's 95% pipe dreams.
2nd for Palmer. Not happening.
New England giving a 5th for a WR who can't catch and has a large salary. No.
