Like who?
Hoyer isnt that bad. He isnt anything special, but he is better than most of the guys out there. _________________

I'm pretty excited to see Plax play again. Though, I'm always excited when we sign somebody. High reward, low risk kind of signing. I also kind of hope we keep him next year too. Give Ben that big receiver he's been calling for. _________________

I like Kafka better but figured we'd go with Hoyer, possible benefit of info from Hoyer on New England outweighs Kafka playing for Philly. Likelihood either would only be needed for a short period of time and if talent is somewhat similar I'd lean that way. _________________

Ironically he has been calling for it since Plexiglass left _________________

According to Pat fans a few years ago this Hoyer guy was worth a 1st round pick in a trade. |

| Quote: | The first phone call Plaxico Burress made after returning to the Pittsburgh Steelers was calling his good friend, Ben Roethlisberger. The second thing he did was to pick up Todd Haley’s playbook — something he needs to learn in a hurry.
The Steelers (6-4) play the Browns (2- on Sunday, and they need Burress to help an injury-thinned receiving corps right now with Antonio Brown and Jerricho Cotchery hurt. There’s no time to wait, and he knows it.
“I’ve seen some fast, talented guys through the years, but they couldn’t grasp the mental part of the game that would allow their physical ability to show,” Burress said Wednesday. “If you don’t know what you’re doing out there, you can’t play. It doesn’t matter how good you are. So I picked up the playbook and start asking `Where do I need to be, what do I need to do?’”
