Croyle retired. And he's awful.
Palko is working as a financial representative with Northwestern mutual. And he's also awful.
I'd prefer old man Charlie Batch if I were Steeler nation. _________________

What is Vince Young up to? I'd definitely prefer him over Batch. I don't think Batch should be starting any of these upcoming games. That said, even though I hate the Steelers I'd be rooting for him. Dude has the word underdog tattooed on his forehead.

May not know the offense but I believe he is familiar with the WRs. _________________

We signed him to our PS last week.
We'll trade him for a 1st. _________________

Vince Young failed with noted QB gurus Andy Reid and Chan Gailey. I defended VY post Titans but failing to prosper with those two? Ouch.
Not to mention he's poor between the ears. He'd have a really hard time preparing to start off the street. _________________

I'm going to say Pittsburgh will sign either Palko or go for a vested vet like Garrard _________________

But at this stage, who is there? Tyler Palko? Brodie Croyle? David Garrard?
Pickings are slim for QBs right now, might as well go with one who has won in some form at the NFL level. Scale down the playbook, let VY do his thing, hope that he finds some lightning in a bottle... _________________

I don't see Garrard as being that bad of an option, relatively. He was leading the Dolphins QB derby prior to his injury. He claims 100% health now. _________________

Well that sucks. Batch is definitely a better option than Tyler Palko. Heck I might be a better option than Palko... _________________

| Convince the Jets to cut Tebow then sign him (if it's legal). He's way better than what i've seen from Leftwich. I think he could learn more behind Ben than any other QB in the league and be a great replacement should he go down again in the future. He plays hard nosed Steeler football. |
