I was just thinking that. This is minor compared to that other one that I simply can't watch _________________

That's how they build them at the U! Right guys?... Oh wait wrong thread.
That's too bad, I always liked McGahee. Hopefully he can bounce back, but it is late in his career. Manning has survived with no running game before, Broncos shouldn't be too worried. _________________ Reggie Wayne for HOF

I doubt it. This really isn't that bad of an injury. I'd be shocked if he missed the entire playoffs. I expect him to be ready by wildcard week. Certainly if Denver makes a run he'll be around for that. _________________

Fun fact: Hillman is 2 inches shorter and 9 lbs heavier than Chris Johnson.
With only 6 games till the playoffs, Hillman isn't really in any danger of breaking down. They shouldn't be afraid to feed the man. _________________

Hillman will already have his green jacket by then. ;-p _________________

Mind = blown, he looks so tiny. He is only 21 though, a kid, lots of that "man strength" isn't fully there yet. |

Huge loss here for Denver. Manning may have been their best player this season but McGahee had been a big help to them as well. _________________ Why, if it isn't my old friend, Mr. McGreg. With a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg. |

He was running great. loved him in Denvers running scheme. In a weird way tho this might work out for them to get him late in the season with rested legs as is he not 21 years old anymore.. and he knows how to recover from injuries and stay in great shape so this might work out.. get him in the second round of the playoffs feeling fresh running strong would be awesome for them. Like how Bradshaw has always been dinged up for the Giants but then like the Divisional Championship game he has fresh legs like its week 2 and is beasting over every one..
Moreno Time!

Yeah...he hasn't been active since week 2. I'm thinking the most action he gets is some 3rd down work blocking for Peyton.
Unless of course he gets two carries and 50 yards, in which case things could change quickly. _________________

Actually if I'm not mistaken, reports are coming in looking like he will actually start the game. I made a topic on the Broncos boards on Monday clamoring for his start, even though it seemed unlikely. But the reality is that Hillman is not an everydown back, Lance Ball is like the Kyle Orton of RBs (nothing special), and the fact that Moreno has averaged 5.4 yards/carry in his 5 career games versus the Chiefs. For some odd reason, the only time he looked like a RB with his draft position was when he played the Chiefs. He is primed for a great game should he get the start. _________________

People said Sproles wasn't an every down back. Hillman will be super awesome and way better then Moreno. _________________

I've not seen any such reports. Everything i've read suggests Hillman will get the start and be the lead back. But Moreno and Ball will be splitting some carries with him. _________________
