There is no point in starting Henne. The point of the rest of the season was to evaluate Gabbert. Does Mularkey know were 1-9?
Mularkey is a complete joke. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. |
Mularkey is saving his job right now. Gene Smith is gone, but Mularkey still has hope.
Let's see what Henne can do, maybe we'll look like a real team. _________________

Mularkey is not saving his job. Lets be real here. He's going to be leaving along with Gene. We're 1-9, one of the worst teams in the league. Not even competitive at home. He failed miserably with Gabbert. He's gone. _________________

Doubt it. If our offense looks good with Henne, Mularkey stays. The excuse will be made that Gabbert held the team back. We'll see what happens. _________________

Welp, if we don't draft a QB now, I'm going to be really upset. _________________

Who? Who is worth the pick?
I'd rather address every other need and get a pass rusher now (when this is a building blocks draft) and roll with Blaine/Henne/Street FA in 2013, and try again in 2014, and have a great defense when we get a new QB. _________________

You have a shot at Geno.
Can you guys bring back Luke McCown when you play the Jets? Muhammad Wilkerson hasn't recorded a safety recently. _________________

I'm glad he didnt try too hide behind Gabbert's injury.
Is the 2nd pick a whole lot different than the 3rd or 4th in this draft? If we cant get Geno anyways I'd rather win a game. _________________ ...What?

Geno isn't worth number 1 overall, but we won't get him anyway. _________________

But is there any word on if MJD is going to play? Hopefully he sits out one more game |
Maurice [probably] wont play.
Blaine has two bad arms/shoulders/elbows...I think this is Mike trying to save his job.
Also, Blaine was on pace for 3000 20:10 |
Where do you get that from?
His ESPN projections are 2,659 14/10, and that's with 450 attempts. |
If you had projected out his stats for the first 9 games that is where he would have landed. Unfortunately for him he got injured yesterday so that lowered his stats as one more game passed lowering the projections. _________________

I don't see how he gets six more TD's and no interceptions as a projection either way, though, that's my thing. _________________

So he's basically doing the same thing here like he did in Buffalo with Losman/Holcomb and led to the GM getting fired? Nice. _________________

Let's not act like Gene wasn't already on his way out though.
Take a mid-round guy this year.
Take another next year until this gets solved. _________________

Who do you want the Jags to take? Dysert? Nassib? _________________

So Henne earned his start because of his play, and starts no matter what Gabbert's injury status is, but Gabbert is still the starter when healthy?
I need answers. _________________
