I respect the dude but I always read his name with the l after the K...
BUT that team name would automatically DQ them. _________________

I am not going to put any more effort than I would have anyway. I was probably going to read the entries and say they sucked anyway. _________________

The peters trade really ruined my parade that year. _________________

Also we have the 3rd overall pick not the sixth. Currently we are there but with the projections and remaining schedule of the Panthers & Browns, who we would be tied with, we most likely finish with the lowest Strength of Schedule thus we pick 3rd (Behind KC & JAX). _________________

Name: Willy_law
Favorite 2012 Draft Prospect: Ryan Swope
Preference for Offense or Defense: Defense
Ideal current NFL coach (specific name or describe type): Jim Harbaugh
Ideal coach for the Eagles (specific name or describe type): Someone who will have an attitude to give the team one. Jon Gruden, Jim Schwartz, the Harbaughs
What is the most important position in football: QB
What is the most important position of improvement on the Eagles: Offensive Line
On a scale of 1 to 5, how much control should the head coach have in football decisions: 4, should make decisions but there needs to be a check on him
What do you look for in draft prospects: Motor, flexibility(more than one use), body language during negative plays, awareness
What do you look for in prospective coaches: Attitude, smarts and playcalling
On a scale of 1 to 5, how aggressive will you be in free agency: 4
On a scale of 1 to 5, how aggressive will you be in trading for draft picks:3
What makes you qualified to lead reconstruction: I thirst for the blood of cowards _________________

IMO, just from skimming the inital list, there needs to be a few players 'bolded':
WR - Victor Cruz
OT - Brandon Albert
OT - Andre Smith
If you're taking Jake Long off the automatic-resign list, then you better believe Brandon Albert & Andre Smith aren't going anywhere.

Bottom line, I need a partner who's willing to cheat to win.
Oh, and I'll run a 4-3, and already have a mostly-complete player mock done with complete salary cap implications running through 2017 that I would start from scratch for the sake of this "challenge". What I really need someone to take half the credit & tell me I'm an idiot the whole time. This will be like a marriage. Only over the internet. And I don't cook, clean, or do laundry, so bring gloves. |

Name: Alex
Favorite 2012 Draft Prospect: Luke Joeckel, Star
Preference for Offense or Defense: Defence wins Championships baby!
Ideal current NFL coach (specific name or describe type): Defensive minded, hard-nosed, tough coach.
Ideal coach for the Eagles (specific name or describe type): Similar to above, let's guy a defensive minded guy. Winston Moss, Perry Fewell, Ray Horton
What is the most important position in football: QB
What is the most important position of improvement on the Eagles: Safety - good safety play makes the whole D better and obviously the OL.
On a scale of 1 to 5, how much control should the head coach have in football decisions: 3 and at most a 4. Preferably our GM would be a 'football guy' who can evaluate talent and make the big decisions.
What do you look for in draft prospects: Prototypes baby! Also no more smaller guys, look at the Bears or Steelers they're just huge guys on D! And less focus on character, if the talent is there we should take that guy regardless of their past.
What do you look for in prospective coaches: Someone who can make a game play to suit the talent on the roster and make in game adjustments for the love of god!
On a scale of 1 to 5, how aggressive will you be in free agency: 1.5. After what's happened the last few years it's clearly bringing in guys externally to build around doesn't work. FA should be used only to fill a few holes.
On a scale of 1 to 5, how aggressive will you be in trading for draft picks: 3. This is a tough one, I like the way a team like the Giants just have their 7 picks most years but also if there's an elite prospect like Julio Jones then I think you have to take a chance.
What makes you qualified to lead reconstruction: I will answer this question with a question.
How many NFC Championships games did we go to with Sav Rocca? 1. How many without Sav Rocca? 0.
It is clear from this that Australians are the key to success.
