Per Jurecki, Jamell Fleming did not see a single defensive snap yesterday. Also per Jurecki ( I don't remember seeing/hearing this personally), Ray Horton stated on Friday that Fleming is quote "Really struggling" and has quote, "Hit the rookie wall". Not really sure what to say.
William Gay played 97% of the snaps yesterday, Patrick Peterson who was in and out with a slight hamstring issue played 86%. Greg Toler played 55%. Adrian Wilson played 56%. _________________

| Every rookie hits the wall at some point. Fleming turn right now. |

Does anyone know why Wilson was demoted in favor of Rashad Johnson? I can't seem to wrap my head around that. _________________

No answer was really given but Jurecki and Somers both hinted at the weak missed tackle against GB two weeks ago. If you remember, it lead to a GB touchdown. Again though, nothing official has been said. _________________

The interesting thing about the Wilson snaps is that most of his snaps came on first and second downs and most of them came in base defense. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

What's even more interesting IMO is that Rashad Johnson was the man who replaced him most often in the nickel/2-4-5 sets. If you remember back to last year when Kerry Rhodes went down, Rashad never played in our nickel sets. Richard Marshall would slide from CB to FS in that alignment and AJ Jefferson would take Marshall's spot at CB. Last year we didn't trust Rashad in that role, yesterday he started over A-Dub there. _________________

If he really did get benched because of missed tackles, I remember watching Rashad missing numerous tackles against Minnesota. I am just very surprised that Adrian Wilson of all people got benched for Rashad freaking Johnson. _________________

| Letting Bethel get snap at CB over Fleming is just stupid. |

Even though it was only 2 snaps according to Jurecki, the fact of it still is that Justin Bethel played over Jamell Fleming yesterday.
That's hard to understand for me. _________________

Me as well. I was so confused seeing Bethel line up outside on that TD throw. _________________
